What a sad story; just breaks my heart.
My prayers for the infant, her deceased mom and their family.
I presume the baby is now in good hands with the grandma or the father.
They won’t hand the baby over to the father because the birth certificate had not even been signed yet.
Until at least sometime today CPS still had the baby. When reporters asked one of the CPS investigators about it she said they had to complete a background investigation on the father and other family members before they could release the baby to anyone. Someone said something about the father had never signed the birth certificate or some such ridiculous statement. One of the best things we could do with CPS in Texas is kick their butts out!
