the infamous "beer summit" on the White House lawn was a case where President Obama was "forced" into a meeting with a "racist" police officer.

That's funny, I saw it as a sham meeting in which a professional law enforcement officer was forced to sit with two racists and make nice in order to protect his career.

IIRC, the cop teaches minority sensitivity classes to other cops. The Cambridge police received a call that someone was breaking into a house. They went there and confronted the man who then refused to come out through the broken door. He also refused to show an ID. They cuffed him and took him away. Maybe my memory is a bit foggy but I suspect most people would be glad to hear that the cops acted properly. Obama stepped in ‘it’ when trying to pander to blacks (from whom he already has nearly complete support). When Obama steps in ‘it’ he always comes out smelling like ‘it’.
