The scandal involving at least 11 U.S. Secret Service personnel that began Wednesday in Colombia could be much larger than initially reported, a Republican lawmaker said Sunday.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), whose panel maintains jurisdiction over all federal agencies, said he had reason to believe that more than 11 Secret Service personnel were involved but never specifically explained why.

I wonder if The Messiah will come out and say the agents acted stupidly, or if he will say the agents looked just like him?
Also, Secret Service advance details are always co-ed. That is a PC fact. That said, hard to believe ONLY male agents would have been involved. . .
Also, times two, what we might be seeing is a set-up on the part of the Colombians, a trap set for the arrogant and unprofessional agents. . .Secret Service agents are known to be arrogant and rude to lesser mortals.
Trapping them plays into the South American hatred of the US president bringing his own protection, so to speak.
We saw that hatred during president Bush's visit to Colombia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PX3aaWlUmpc
This may be pay-back on the part of the Chileans. . .who knows. . .but the agents were glacially stupid to allow themselves to be compromised, thereby putting the president (and future presidents) at risk.
do you think a person could drink that much liquor and still perform?
Argh. . .it was Chile that I was referring to, regarding pay-back for the Bush incident, and maybe the Colombians also wanted to play gotcha. . .and maybe the Colombians and the Chileans got together on this incident. . .saw an easy opportunity to set the trap, what with affirmative action and lezbo’s on the detail..
“Disgusting isn’t it and so demoralizing.”
No. When the enemy reveals his position and line of attack, you have his location, strength...and weakness, no?
The Secret Service know what’s what. And who’s buried where. I wouldn’t want a one of them as any adversary of mine. Between them and the SEALs, I would lay lower than dirt and stay out of their way.
Frankly, I think this is bogus. Distraction from a meeting 0bama wants with real enemies of the US in S. America, with his NBPP thug security around him. Soros, Imadinnerjacket, N. Korea, Putin and Bejing reps come to mind. Maybe even reps from the heroin trade cartels and the new Mexican Zeta/MS 13 merger thrown in for good measure. Some folks have had to been removed from whatever is being said and done.
.
What? TDY’ers spending their tax-free M&IE per diem on booze and whores? Shocking! BTW, Cartagena, Columbia Meals and “Incidental” Expenses is $107/day.
Why anyone in the Secret Service would behave like this in what’s still close to a Narco State (better than it was but still pretty corrupt and infiltrated at all levels by the cartels). If they were willing to get drunk and deal with prostitutes in the same hotel as the President and the WH staff in a country like Columbia what did they do in another violent country like Mexico or countries were there are other threats from terrorists or espionage agents? It speaks to a lack of leadership/supervision.
The question that hasnt been asked were they merely mirroring the standards set by those who they were guarding? Was that kind of behavior so common and long standing among those they were guarding and their staff that it became seen acceptable behavior? Thats a very real possibility. Im not talking about Obama. There is no way hed be involved. If he got caught he wouldnt have to worry about the press. His wife would geld him quicker than you can say Jack Robinson. The staff below him is a different kettle of fish and a sense of entitlement seems to pervade this administration.
And skinny.
My question is, “what is this supposed to be covering up?”
I need help here from freepers that pay more attention than I do: Is Issa a dud or have I missed ANY action he’s taken against ANY of the idiots he’s investigating??
All I hear about are hearings and investigations and I NEVER hear that Issa has taken action on anything.
What am I missing?
The shiite flows downhill. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. If the top is infected, so it every level below.
Next in line for those vacancies:
Well, who is to blame for their recklessness, contempt and disdain for their job- or is it who they are sworn to protect? Hmmm...
Nope. Don’t remember anything like this happening on President George W. Bush’s watch. I remember complete respect for each other on both parties’ part. Matter of fact, when the senior President Bush was in office, First Lady Barbara Bush would check on their Secret Service detail, walking outside to make sure they were warm enough on cold nights and would bring them hot chocolate or a hat and scarf.
Maybe the SS just needed to work off a little steam after having to babysit the kids and Grandma Voodoo in Mexico.
Best question asked about this. The answer may just be more distraction from F&F or Solyndra-gate stuff that’s ongoing. Provides some fodder for the LSM.
Maybe distracts from something yet to be revealed. Throwing a little bone to us.
I believe SS is under Treasury, so geitner would be over them
Things that make you go hmmm.
5.56mm
Never mind, they are under DHS, so Bid sis over them.. They were once under Dept of Treasury.
I am keeping a close eye on the Daily Mail and the rest of the British press in the hope of finding out what's really going on with this story.
I anxiously await Dick Morris’ opinion piece on this subject.
