You can take it to the bank that NRLC and the other groups got a pledge about something that makes Romney much better than Obama.

Judges.
Conscience Clause.
Hyde Amendment.
Abortion and BC mandates in Obamacare.
Obamacare itself.

It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.

Obama is the most radical pro-abortion President in history.

Obama is probably the most radical pro-abortion POLITICIAN in history, as he vocally supported “after birth abortion” in Illinois.

You all have a right to your opinions, and we will all have to figure out how to get past this next election.

However? The pro-life movement WILL be better off with Romney over Obama.

That is a no-brainer.

Who cares about the interests of the "pro-life movement"? The fact is, under either one they will still be killing thousands of babies every day, and ignoring the most important requirements of the U.S. Constitution. You can take that to the bank.

Romney is not our candidate and hopefully never will be. The guy has overseen the government forcing Catholic hospitals to commit what Catholic doctrine says is murder. I don’t care whether it’s the feds or a state that does it, that’s diametrically opposed to the principle of religious liberty and DANGEROUS precedent in a time when our chief enemy - the Islamists - want to use foot-in-the-door precedents at the local and state levels to get sharia forced on all of us.

Mitt Romney is dangerous.

This race is not Romney v Obama. This race is Romney v Gingrich, and these people have a heckuva lot of explaining to do by pledging their support to Romney when the solidly-pro-life Gingrich is still in the race.

This is a betrayal, while Gingrich is still in the race. And I do not trust these supposed pro-lifers any more.

Judging by Romneys support and financial donations to Planned Parenthood and appointment of leftwing judges and of course RomneyCare (which he still supports)...

Anyone who thinks the pro-life movement is better off with Mittens is insane.

His promises aren’t worth the paper they are written on.

a pledge from Romney is as good as a promise from Obama..

Neither are worth a poop..

I agree. I am about as pro-life as you can get. As a Medical Technologist working in our local hospital in the late 1970's, I drew blood from girls who at 7 months pregnant were having a "saline" abortion that may have been their second or third one. I really had not thought that much about it before then, although I knew that I would never have had an abortion myself. In fact, my husband and I were trying to have a baby at the time and these girls were throwing away something that I wanted so badly. I realized then that abortion was being used as birth control.

I have said before on this forum that I dislike Romney intensely, but, on the question of life, Romney is preferable to Obama. Even though Romney (like Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush before him) was formerly pro-choice, I do not believe that he would ever support letting a fetus that survives an abortion die without any medical intervention. That is how radically pro-abortion Obama is!

A pledge.

Not terribly convincing.

Still no sale on Romney, but now I'll be sure that nary a cent of mine ever goes to NRLC again.

Did Romney sign the pledge on his Etch-a-Sketch?

He might as well have -- his word is worthless the moment he decides it's politically advantageous to flip-flop again.

Too often typical of too much of the pro-life movement...measuring how it impacts the "movement"...vs. babies themselves...

Why don't you go out on a lecture tour as to how RomneyCare's $50 abortion -- and often in many cases - $0 abortions (100% taxpayer funded) "benefit" both those babies? (along w/the taxpayers who have to answer to God as to why they didn't object to how their taxes were used?)
