Amid a massive backlash from the American public and a stampeding retreat from her supporters, Democratic National Committee advisor Hilary Rosen backtracked from her words about Ann Romney last night on CNN, stating a few moments ago, As a pundit, I know my words on CNN last night were poorly chosen I apologize to Ann Romney. The report of that statement comes from Jim Acosta at CNN.
The question is whether the Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee will apologize to Romney, and whether they will fire Rosen over this incident. Rosen has long been associated with the Obama team and the DNC, and her apology means virtually nothing given the fact that she has defended her comments at length over the past 24 hours. Only pressure from inside the Obama campaign and DNC forced this apology. Even then, she apologized to Romney for her wording, not for the point she was making.

I smell a couple of shills on this thread. Do you? Considering that Rosen is the subject, sort of fishy?
(....don't everyone answer at once.....)

Your conjecture is in error. I'm fairly sure Zeros plan didn't include having this blow up in their faces.
So were not discussing the candidates positions on various issues...big deal.
I think most people have a pretty good grasp of where they candidates stand at this point, so why not take the time and enjoy watching the Dem's crash and burn?
Wasn't that great? He was going back to the days when even wealthy people would force their kids to strike out on their own, without promise of support, or returning home. The basement cold-water flat in grad school, without money for new carpet -- been there.
>>Is it a job Yes, but it is one that working woman must do both and often they are the only hands doing it all. There is no husband to pick up the slack.<<
There are lots of hands doing it. They just have to pay for those hands.
As an in-home childcare worker, I potty trained and bottle broke “working moms” kids. I started them on solids, I dressed and bathed them. I helped older kids with homework and watched as their moms carry in restaurant food as I stirred my crock pot. I transported kids to bus stops and got them off the bus, feeding snacks and finding pencils. The moms dropped their kids with me and went on “daytrips” with their work friends. Or had their hair done, or their nails.
Now I homeschool. I don’t set my own time, the school schedule does. AND I can’t tell you the amount of working moms who think I eat bonbons all day. LOL! Today I got in half the panels of our new fence!
I’ve done both. I’ve worked with my kids and I stayed at home. Working is tons easier.
I don’t want them to apologize, I just want them to shut up and quit shoving Marxism down our throats. That would be worth ten thousand apologies.
It sure was!
I don't think a lot of younger people these days have any concept of how things used to be when parenting didn't mean giving your kids whatever they wanted.
Part of what made America great, and part of what made Americans strong was that many parents pushed their kids out of the nest and said, "Fly."
You lived in a basement, but I'm guessing it wasn't in Mommy's house. ;*)
What she mounted was a one-womyn frontal assault on behalf of Obama's class warfare....an assault designed to make every voter hate those evil, rich Romneys who have money that was stolen from the poor and must be redistributed by the Dems in exchange for votes and power.
THAT'S what Obama and Moochelle and their commie friends are all about, period. Everything else is beanbag.

>>stay at home moms vs. working moms.<<
Stay at home moms are too busy to be concerned about working moms.
Let the working moms have their hissy fits. I’m too busy schooling my kids.
You do remember that Fluke was planned? I’m sorry, but you are very naive.
All our discussions are planned by Obama, Inc.
Where are the conservative topics such as government waste, welfare cheats... Did you know that government cost of living calculations don’t even include food?
Thanks for carrying the Rat meme on this. From this piece Rush read today, your guess about her having no idea about the real world is off base.
Rush reads 1994 Ann Romney interview which obliterates lefts out of touch narrative
Add a case of breast cancer and being diagnosed with MS to this and I wouldn't call this womans life easy street like you are positing.
Going after Milt on being a shifty RINO politician is one thing, but buying into the Lefts class warfare BS talking points to slam his wife is another.
Q: What’s the difference between a pooch and a light bulb?
A: You can unscrew a light bulb.
We should hope for more of like these poorly chosen words from them. Her comments disarmed Obama’s spew of GOP war on women and turned the table on the liberals. Completely.
We don’t think Mitt is out-of-touch because of his money. Donald Trump has money and he’s very in-touch with working class people. Mitt is out-of-touch because he’s out-of-touch with our values. His wife’s probably just as out-of-touch as he is, but she’s at least somewhat likable.
When I spoke of Obummer not having this discussion planned, I meant this current one involving the value of stay at home moms. There was no way they expected their finely crafted War on Women message to be turned around on them. There is definite backlash here against the Regime. This caught them off guard and neutralized all the Regimes hard work to turn women off to the GOP.
This is the same Hilary Rosen who was suing pre-teens in Harlem for online music trading in the Napster suits a few years ago, no?
I'm not going to get involved in what she is in touch with or not. Right now from what I have seen she seems nice to me. Probably the only good thing I can rattle off the top of my head about Milt. One other good quality about her is that she has not screwed around with the portions and quality of food I buy at McDonalds. I have yet to go on a 4 letter tirade using her name at a fast food joint like I regularly do with Moochelle.
If you can't tell, I like my fast food.
Are you aware that the Romney’s never had any money until his work at Bain paid off? They weren’t always wealthy and had no help from their parents.
Oh, I think you totally misunderstood my post. I miss my job, being a stay at home mom is pure drudgery. Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids. I loved my job. But I have aged out of the job market, I no longer qualify for the job I once held. God forbid if I have to rejoin the workforce. And instead of being praised for my choices, I am derided as an elitist who sits on her butt all day. I have special needs kids, I don’t know why you think I set my own schedule during the day and have any control over the time and energy I put into my scedule. BTW, due to my husbands job,I am alone for weeks at a time so I deal with many of the same issues. But because I don’t work outside the home, certain segments of society sees me as leach, not truely a contributing member of society. And that’s what I heard out of Rosen’s mouth.
