President Obama continues to hold a double-digit lead in Massachusetts over Mitt Romney, governor of the state from 2003 to 2007.
A new Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters in Massachusetts finds Obama earning 51% support to Romney's 40%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Massachusetts is a foreign country.
OMG!!!
Romney will make Goldwater look like a squeaker Conservatives are out again on this one. .
This is closer than I thought MA would be.
Mind you leave your guns at home though. We do not tolerate guns in the People's Republik of Massholes.
Or, at least cut them loose and see how that experienticence works out.
Massachusetts’s the first nation of LORD OF THE FLIES.
I grew up in Newton, Mass.
B.C. grad.
I know how bad it is : )
Canada is an ally!
“This is closer than I thought MA would be.”
I will admit I’m a bit surprised too. Still not voting for Rombot, but he is going to make O spend money in Mass, Maine, N.H., and Michigan.
I thought the spread would be bigger, though.
Romney is going to lose the South. He is down significantly in NC... I’ll bet GA is also in play. One of the worst presidencies in history is going to win reelection in a landslide. That is how bad of a candidate Romney is. Vote Virgil Goode.
Canada has moved to the right and we have moved to the left. It's unlikely Canada would accept. Several countries which were once to the left of us are now moving to the right of us. For the last 5 years Vietnam has been giving up its control of markets and putting them in control of the private sector.
I’m watching the Mosquito Coast for the 20th time since 2008
We must take the Senate, Obamney is going no where just like Juanito
I lived in Townsend,Ma for 26 years..
That is actually very low for a liberal Democrat President in this state. I doubt they are polling his base in the inner city projects. I expect that number to go up.
I know that state is a left wing nut house, but I will only believe Obama is gone, when he actually leaves the White House. I know most think he will get beat, but I remember McCain, Dole, Ford, and other liberal RINO dolts, who lost to a real liberal.
I was going to say that this was good news for Scott Brown, but if this poll was taken with the same sample as that Senate poll showing Brown losing by 1% then it’s not such good news for Brown (who would only be getting 4% more of the vote than Romney).
