OBAMA OR ROMNEY: THE REPUBLIC FAILS EITHER WAY
WorldNetDaily ^ | 03/29/2012 at 7:59 PM | Ambassador Dr. Alan Keyes

Posted on 04/10/2012 11:56:22 PM PDT by TBP

As I anticipated, “the elitist machinations of the sham party system are predictably moving America toward another false choice between an avowed socialist Democrat and a prevaricating socialist Republican.”

The “lesser evil” approach guarantees the triumph of wrong. So in choosing between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama we are like the cornered target of the hit man who says, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way.” The fatal outcome is inevitable in either case. Obama’s way takes us to domineering socialism along a path that moves more openly and harshly against right, conscience and property. Romney’s way takes us to domineering socialism along a path that reserves the harsher methods, preferring to use deception and prevarication so that we go more gently into the night.

The Obama way challenges the courage of Americans, and if that courage is lacking, it will succeed more quickly. But if courage is not lacking, Obama’s way entails much greater risk of resistance and failure in the short term. The Romney way is slower, but more surely and easily achieves the goal.

What will it take? First of all, it will take hard times. By hard times, I mean real privation for about 35% of the population who have real expectations and are not used to being poor men.

By the way, there was a story on CBS morning show today about your Governor being the likely VP under Romney. Just an FYI.

It will be interesting to hear what Sarah Palin does in the next few weeks and who she endorses. I still do not think she will run. She is more of a promoter and good organizer. She is also much smarter, and pragmatic enough, to avoid this kind of insane/suicidal behavior coming from the malcontented Populist extremists.

Alan Keyes goes way back as exactly that. If this forum decides that it wants to limit itself to such a small fragment of stupidity, then it will shrink into nothing, as positive and logical thinkers go elsewhere.

“Good post. Thanks. Only common sense I’ve heard in a long time. And I’m no Paulbot.”

I’m not a Paulbot either. I’m still trying to decide between Gingrich and Paul for the NC primary.

A divided house shall fall.

Let it fall, nominating McLame in 2008, should have been the last straw.

It’s a moot point, Obama is going to wipe the floor with Romney, anyway. Even if every Freeper holds their nose and votes for Mittens.

The republic falls either way with the choice of zero vs mitt. So the only logical step is then to leave the country. A civil war wold take took long to effect a positive change.
So where do we go when the republic is dead?

This is not 1800. Zero will ensure that we cannot oppose him because he will become a dictator. Who will be the fool then. Mitt, bad as he is, would not become a dictator.

Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan would not be accepted by this party.

Nor Bob Taft.

Remember Ed Gillespie, then RNC Chairman, saying that there is no place in the party for limited government people? Gillespie is a Romney advisor now.

Romney Alinsky Connection.

Mitt Romney’s mentor, his father, a fan of Saul Alinsky

The Library of Congress preserved these photographs of what appears to be a meeting between the two men on September 13, 1967, in Rochester, New York.

I don’t think anyone who has always been turned off by Mitt Romney and lets be honest, that includes everyone in the TEA Party base, will be surprised to learn his dad was an Alinskyite.

Mitt Romney has called himself a Progressive and he was for abortion because of his Progressive Mother he was giving thanks to for those murderous views. If you have watched the downright mean way Romney has run both his campaigns for President, you will see he was Alinsky when Obama was making Alinsky cool for lefties.

It isn’t hard to recognize the brutality in which Romney attacks his opponents both in 2008 and this year to recognize the Alinsky style. The problem is and always will be with Mitt Romney his progressive views, for those like me who are conservative, it is the progressives in the Republican Party that has made the Grand Old Party, the Democrat-lite Party.

When Newt Gingrich mentions a manager to manage the decline of America, he is of course speaking of the progressive wing of the Republican Party, it is who the TEA Party has been fighting since 2009.

America cannot take another round of progressivism, the last 3 years have catapulted this great country to the edge of the precipice and our chance, only chance to turn back the hands of the lefties of all stripes, no matter what the call themselves, is 2012.

There is no tomorrow after November 2012, we will be sucked into a socialist drain.

I don’t know that Newt Gingrich is the answer either, other then he knows how those laws are written and the crap that is stuck inside them and can veto each and every one of them that We The People demand he veto.

I only know this is the last shot for America to turn back the hands of time and return us to a free market behemoth, with life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for every American.

A. Mitt Romney has stated his chief political mentor was his father, George Romney.

B. George Romney, a steadfast progressive, credited Saul Alinsky, met with him, and recommended his work.

A+B = Mitt Romney’s chief political mentor was a steadfast progressive who credited Saul Alinsky, met with him, and recommended his work.

This is the extended version of the Romney Alinsky Connection.

It includes more information on Saul Alinsky and strengthens the case that Mitt Romney shares Alinsky’s view of the world.

It also includes information from Hillary Clinton’s thesis on Saul Alinsky, and th Lucifer connection. It also includes footage from Huntsman and Huckbee that was not in the prior video. This video still does not include all the evidence available, but is more reflective of my hard drive limitations.

ALINSKY, son of Neo-Marxist Saul Alinsky

Obama helped fund ‘Alinsky Academy’: “The Woods Fund, a nonprofit on which Obama served as paid director from 1999 to December 2002, provided startup funding and later capital to the Midwest Academy.... Obama sat on the Woods Fund board alongside William Ayers, founder of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization.... ‘Midwest describes itself as ‘one of the nation’s oldest and best-known schools for community organizations, citizen organizations and individuals committed to progressive social change.’... Midwest teaches Alinsky tactics of community organizing.”

Hillary, Obama and the Cult of Alinsky: “True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught.

They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within. Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties....

Many leftists view Hillary as a sell-out because she claims to hold moderate views on some issues. However, Hillary is simply following Alinsky’s counsel to do and say whatever it takes to gain power.

“Obama is also an Alinskyite.... Obama spent years teaching workshops on the Alinsky method. In 1985 he began a four-year stint as a community organizer in Chicago, working for an Alinskyite group called the Developing Communities Project....

Camouflage is key to Alinsky-style organizing. While trying to build coalitions of black churches in Chicago, Obama caught flak for not attending church himself. He became an instant

Saul Alinsky and Neo-Marxism:Tactics

“Tactics are those conscious deliberate acts by which human beings live with each other and deal with the world around them. ... Here our concern is with the tactic of taking; how the Have-Nots can take power away from the Haves.”

Always remember the first rule of power tactics

1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.”

2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear and retreat.... [and] the collapse of communication.

3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”

5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.”

6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”

7. “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time....”

8. “Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.”

9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.”

11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside... every positive has its negative.”

12. “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.”

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and ‘frozen.’...

“...any target can always say, ‘Why do you center on me when there are others to blame as well?’ When your ‘freeze the target,’ you disregard these [rational but distracting] arguments.... Then, as you zero in and freeze your target and carry out your attack, all the ‘others’ come out of the woodwork very soon. They become visible by their support of the target.’

“One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other.”

Please let me re-iterate, the argument that Romney is a Luciferian hangs on being an Alinskite, not to being a Mormon.

I leave that argument to theologians.

Additional information from http://www.therightscoop.com/

“The progressive Alinsky is infamous and actually toxic on the right,” Riehl wrote.

“George Romney’s endorsement of him, coupled with his acknowledged strong influence on son Mitt, will do little to assure suspicious conservatives concerned about Mitt Romney’s record as a progressive, including his introduction of Romneycare in Massachusetts.”

Be courteous to all, but intimate with few, and let those few be well tried before you give them your confidence.

Amen.

The only way out now is to get as many Tea Partiers as possible elected to The House and Senate.

Don't give these Big Government Marxists anything to sign.

Nobody had any idea that President Bush was going to expand Medicare by the largest degree since its inception nor did anyone foresee him handing over the education of our chilluns to Ted Kennedy.

There's no telling what sort of grand ideas are rattling around in Mitt Romney's head.

Marcus Tullius Cicero: A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.

This quote could be just as easily be used to support Obama. I would rather have the open socialism of Obama than the camouflaged socialism of Romney. At least that way, there is no question who the enemy is. A Republican Congress might fight Obama but a Republican Congress won't fight Romney, nor would a Democrat Congress because Romney will give them everything they want.

My conscience is never for sale but if it was, I wouldn't give it up to vote for a 90% liberal to oust a 100% liberal. Some conservatives need to consider how cheaply they are selling out their principles.

Great post. How can anyone here who have said that they will never vote for Romney, get up on November third after an Obama win, and not want to jump off a cliff for aiding and abetting the communist party? What’s the big deal here? Is it so damn hard to get in your car, drive on over to the community center or wherever, walk in, smile at the ladies, and pull the lever for Romney?

So, I completely agree with your last sentence “If they sit it out they CANNOT be forgiven for their pompous disregard for the Republic.” If anyone says that “in good conscience, I won’t vote for Romney”.... well they are lying, because they will spend the rest of their lives feeling guilty for not doing anything to stop communism.

I understand but I just do not think any State but Texas will do what needs to be done... and if it comes down to that... I will move BACK to Texas. I lived there in the 70’s and have family there. I never would have believed that I would have lived to see the destruction of our Republic and the complete corruption of the republican party and our election process. We live in a nation that is as corrupt and controlled as the old Soviet Union... and it is becoming clear to more people every day.

That's what makes this election different from the other run-of-the-mill elections. Our very foundation is at stake. obama is on the campaign trail preaching his Marxist views -- he's not even trying to hide it at this point. The exit polls have overwhelmingly shown that this election is about "the economy stupid". That is the winning issue. We are at the crossroads: Communism vs. free market capitalism. Nothing else matters if the wrong road is chosen.

Great post.. you present a good argument. I just can’t bring myself to the point of not doing something about the situation we are in. My reaction is action, and the only action I can take is to vote for the only other choice. You know CommerceComet, you do make an awful lot of sense, as we probably can all agree. It’s just that our only way of fighting back is with this fantasy we’ve been led to believe in.. the vote.

I LOVE the fatalistic, the "world is ending" rant by a former representative of the Republican Party and a guy, good as he may be, who hasn't won an election in the last 20 years.

I just wonder WHY so many people at FR WANT the Republic to fail???? If you don't, step up, fight and elect CONSERVATIVES to the SENATE and HOUSE!!

The bottom line is this: Thanks to the Tea Party and Conservative activism, the Republican Party of today is MORE Conservative than it was in 1988.
