Sharpton breaks promise to Trayvon supporters, fails to show up in Sanford for Easter ‘Occupation’

MSNBC host and the Rev. Al Sharpton has broken a major promise he made to those supporting him and Trayvon Martin’s family: he didn’t show up in Sanford, Fla., to “occupy” the town over Easter weekend.

On March 26, Sharpton had vowed to “occupy” Sanford over Easter weekend to show support for Trayvon, the 17-year-old black teen who was shot by Hispanic man George Zimmerman on Feb. 26.

“We’re going to have a full blown occupation of Sanford with tents and everything over Easter weekend until [authorities] either arrest George Zimmerman, or arrest us for praying for his arrest,” Sharpton told ABC News about two weeks before Easter.

Now though, on Easter weekend, Sharpton is nowhere to be found in the central Florida town. Instead, according to his Twitter feed, he’s in Harlem.

Same type topic - There was shooting in DC the other day, a group of yutes was shot in broad daylight while engaged in a crap game.
The witlesses claim 4 or 5 walked through the park behind an apartment complex and shot the crappers.
The witlesses basically agreed it was probably a robbery since the TEENS played CRAPS in the courtyard EVERY DAY and the ‘others’ knew there was a lot of MONEY involved.
When further questioned etc, the witlesses told the camera that they were appalled at the lack of police patrol that allow the crap game every day.

NOW, being a ‘thinking’ person I ask/opine:
Where are all these yutes getting money to enjoy blowing in a high stakes crap game?
Was there really enough money involved to warrant a group of gunmen?
All the eyewitlesses were talking to the local news reporters, one can only imagine what they (didn’t) told Police.
ALSO, can you imagine the S-Storm if the police came to this ‘peaceful’ apartment complex to break up a crap game.
They hardly are effective in breaking up drug sales and get about as much cooperation from the tenants/hangers on.

That's the bottom line, but the details are fascinating.
