LOL
He** of a deal, ain't it?
See something in the media, and the first thing you've got to do is go research sources for something factual.
(A good start would be to suggest that you quit using Google.....they're really no more than a media echo chamber that records your searches and your IP address in the bargain.)
Bet you never thought that you'd become a journalist. Even in self defense.
Who the hell writes this stuff???
Fire gets knocked down
But fire gets up again
You're never going to keep fire down

You're never going to keep fire down
Burning the night away

He burns a car up
He burns a building up
He burns a tree up
He burns the stuff that reminds him
Of the good times

Nat gas is carried on the roof.
Thanks, but I know. I've lived in NYC all my 54 years. I made a mistake and ass-u-me-d that they were referring to Manhattan. Got home very late from work yesterday and have been on meds for a bad tooth infection. I corrected myself back in post 15. :)
If it got caught under something, and folded or bunched up, I suppose it could reach places. Weird accidents can happen.
Homeland Security is most likely off work for the religious holiday that they don’t recognize!
There was a spring in a blow-up mattress?
I once drove by an empty school bus fully engulfed on an
interstate. I was probably in the 3rd lane, with the bus in the
breakdown lane.
I could feel the IR from the fire through the closed passenger
window on my skin while in the drivers seat in my A/C'd car
doing at least 55mph while passing it by.
One commenter had an interesting statement on how the gas tanks are supposedly made to withstand collisions but not a mattress spring?
Maybe Dateline NBC doing another ‘ruptured fuel tank’ special episode.
“And, the King-sized mattress went....right...into...the...POOL, and immediately sank to the bottom”
The customer ordered a mattress and was delivered a water bed instead.
Dry run?
How does one drive over a MATRESS? Wouldn’t you see it in the road?
I see cardboard boxes in the road and am not stupid enough to drive over them with my car.
It could be
A) empty
B) filled with puppies
C) filled with engine parts
D) filled with explosives
Why play the odds?
TLTBIBTF”INT”.
(Too late to be IN B4 THE FIRST “IT’S NOT TERRORISM”)
Having known some firemen, that’s a term they use.
I don’t buy any of it. I have seen no other source reporting this story and it seems to me that if a bus explodes, takes out 6 cars...well it would make a blip on the radar screen.
I have all the news wires on Twitter and none reported this story.
I doubt a diesel soaked mattress could get enough O2 to burn under a slow moving bus. Until a dip or bump dislodged it. Then Look Out!
Mattress springs punctured an MTA Bus Gas Tank?
Not buying.
It’s certainly not out of the question.
