A Coral Springs woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly attacking her boyfriend when he refused to have sex with her.

Inez Nunez, 18, was arrested on a domestic battery charge around 2:30 p.m. at their home in the 5700 block of West 47th Court, police said.

A more useful description might be:

"ZOT" is the action of the Admin Moderator, or in some instances site owner Jim Robinson himself, nuking the posting account of a FReeper who has been making trouble (hurling insults, posting obscenity, trolling, post-and-run, boosting socialism, backing Romney or other frowned-upon folks, etc.), or pulling a thread with any of the above. The account may be "suspended" (posting privs gone but the account remains) or "banned" (account is disabled). The thread may be pulled entirely, or just set aside with a History link, to allow examination and critique.

The term "ZOT" derives from the legendary Johnny Hart comic strip "B.C.", where (in some cases) the anteater would shoot out his tongue and eat an ant, or (in other cases) it was lightning or similar. Other comics would use "POW!" or "BAM!".... B.C. used "ZOT!".

Johnny Hart is a much-honored artist around FR, not only for his wonderful funny strips, and the ZOT, but also his overt and unapologetic conservative and Christian themes in his later work. He took a lot of flak from the MSM for that. I'm proud to say that Johnny Hart lived and worked in the Broome County, NY area, which is very near my own home.

There exist threads devoted to the History of the ZOT on FR, including the "Undead Threads". They are hilarious. At the moment I don't have a link for you but if I can find one I'll post it. Maybe someone else will....

"Laz" is short for "Lazamataz", a legendary long-time FReeper who (among other notable attributes) is known to be willing to "hit" (that is, have some form of active sexual encounter with) nearly anything from a beautiful woman to a old tree stump. Whether he actually consummates these relationships is unknown (at least to me). But in the context of evaluating the beauty, hotness, desirability, etc. of a (usually female) subject of a posted article, the question will often be asked, "Would Laz hit it?" There are many possible answers, most of which are quite humorous. To be sure, some of it is "Guy Humor", meaning most men find it hilarious, and most women roll their eyes. But the majority is risible to all.

It's all in the light spirit of good fun, of course.

I have pinged Laz for any comment. (Also, it's considered proper/polite FR etiquette to ping any FReeper you mention in a post.)

Yes, and no. One of them is something like a bolt of lightning, that comes out of nowhere, hits you like a ton of bricks, leaves you stunned and burned to a crisp, wondering what the hell it was and why there's nothing left of you. And the other is how FreeRepublic suspends or bans wayward members
