Several Congressional Black Caucus members have introduced a resolution that memorializes 17-year-old Trayvon Martin and calls for the repeal of controversial gun laws that allow shooters to claim self-defense.
The resolution states that the February shooting of Martin “sets a horrific precedent of vigilante justice and compromises the integrity of the legal system.” It also says assailant George Zimmerman’s “unfounded assumptions and racial bias led to the use of deadly force.”
Zimmerman’s family and lawyer have refuted claims that he shot Martin because he was black.

So anyone, anywhere who is really defending themselves would go to jail because a Hispanic guy shot a black guy who was beating his head on the ground? Idiocy at it’s worst.

I put secondary responsibilty for his treatment at the feet of these race-baiting goons who egg on the thug mindset with their exhorations that defy what we know of this case.

Fine with me. The only laws I require are laid out in a couple of older documents. One of which clearly states that I have been endowed, by my Creator, with certain unalienable rights. That among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
That and the other document that states in part...."the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
Everything else is simply an infringement and is unconstitutional anyway.

The ‘Black Caucus’ really says it all; they are the racists and American society is so dysfunctional that we have to endure these frivolous gestures. Treyvon Martin is a dime a dozen. Just another young, black thug..living out this rotten ‘gangsta’ lifestyle..I don’t mourn him. This is why people should be armed and be able to defend themselves..some of us know about all the black hate crimes that are swept under the rug and I am fed up with these charlatans.

How about their logic is to remove a victims' right to self defense in order to prevent someone from becoming a victim like Hoodie McSkittles.
Will these racists also call or laws to protect whites from black crime?
The new law will read like this: Any white man thought to have killed a black man will be immediately shot by a member of the Black Panthers.
