The Justice Department has cut off negotiations with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and officials with the Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriffs Office in its effort to install an independent monitor to rein in the unconstitutional tactics used by officers there. Arpaio, who calls himself Americas Toughest Sheriff, defied the Justice Department suggestion that it could sue the county and the sheriffs office to force the issue. I am the constitutionally and legitimately elected Sheriff and I absolutely refuse to surrender my responsibility to the federal government,

Is President Flexibility so desperate for Hispanic votes that he is more than willing to throw the good Arizona sheriff under the bus and arrest him in order to win many Hispanic votes on election day Nov. 2012?
sheriff joe is like the legendary, fearless american hero in old hollywood films — standing up for what is right and the law.
as to the communist foreigner, it seems as though he’s going quite mad. really, if you look closely, the things he’s been saying and doing show a person who’s gone crazy. he may end up being taken out of the white house not in an orange jumpsuit or pink underwear but a straight jacket.
as odd as it may seem, this little move by the communist foreigner may be exactly what’s needed to take the criminal fraud investigation to the next level. by confronting sheriff joe, it’s actually calling more attention to his investigation and the evidence which he has uncovered.
the communist foreigner thinks he can check arpaio but it is arpaio who will checkmate him. similar to what the communist foreigner did to the SCOTUS.
Yes, the freaking cowards must have read my posts!
Many of us will suffer the terrible violence that’s already starting. If we don’t stand up to defend ourselves, our families, our property, our way of life and our Republic by extension, then we deserve what we get, including but not limited to, communist enslavement.
That said, I’ll repeat what I’ve been saying for years. The violence enablers and fomenters should suffer PHYSICALLY as many of us will.
It’s only fair. As our e_steemed pile, 0b0z0, admonished his subjects: You gotta share the “sacrifice,” share the responsibility, pay your fair share, etc. Yes, Mr. 0h0m0, we certainly will make the people who SHARED THE FOMENTING AND ENABLING OF VIOLENCE PAY AS THE REST OF US.
Got it communists? No escape this time, especially when the checks stop and violence rules the day.
Umm... Which constitution would that be?
The author surely realizes the US Constitution limits the power of the FEDERAL government, not the STATE. Doesn't he?
Hmmm...

I’d say Sheriff Joe has a lot more Hispanic support than we realize.
Stereotyping, in this case, is in our favor because they are underestimating Arpaio’s support among Hispanics.

If BO sends in Fed Marshals everyone will know that BO is scared shi%^&*$ of what the sheriff is doing. They will begin to finally put 2 and 2 together. After all, if Sheriff Joe didn’t have anything, they wouldn’t have to threaten would they?
The more extreme the chicago thug gets, the more guilty he looks.
Why aren’t there more sheriffs standing up and backing sheriff Joe?
bfl
That would make a fantastic movie. Arpaio has been in law enforcement for a very long time.
Your picture of Duvall really fits.
"true grit" is very much lacking in most of our elected officials.
People got a taste of "true grit" when Rick Perry ran for the nomination, this scared people to death.
Thanks for the kind words.
