How did Tarrant County (SouthLake) come out?

I live in Memphis Tn. WBAP is also my favorite. I’t 8:30 PM and they are still on the tornado story.
We were lucky in Irving, just heavy rain, not even any winds. It kinda side stepped us.
One woman in Arlington whose house was damaged said she and kids and dogs had gone to the basement, which amazed me.
Basements are almost unknown in this area.
I did take the vacuum cleaner out of the hall closet so we could get in there.
Check in if you are able. Worried and saying prayers for those who have been hit or are in the path of these storms.
Meanwhile Western Japan had a good blow too..
Two trucks lie on their sides on a bridge at Toyama city, western Japan. A typhoon-strength storm brought travel chaos to Japan on Tuesday, as violent winds and rain killed at least two people and left tens of thousands of people stranded
Hi Nan,
No worries. We had some massive storm activity come very close to us, but actually missed us by miles and miles.
We closed the shop and hunkered down today. Covered the work truck with plywood and cinder blocks to protect it from possible hail damage (some areas got baseball sized!).
We basically stayed indoors and monitored the weather reports all day. Mommy ran the kids through our tornado drill, etc. and I made sure we had all of our emergency supplies at the ready.
It was an interesting day, but all we really got was a good soaking. Thank you so much for asking about us.
Un-freaking-believable video....semi trailers hundreds of feet in the air...
I recall that blasted cloud going right over my home, very scary situation. It was reported early on as a probably F4.
I believe that was the same year I lost my car at Mayfest in a hail storm in Fort Worth....not a piece of plastic or glass left and the car looked like a hammer had hit every inch of the metal. The hail was the size of almost a softball.
Dayyyamn!
So glad to know you and the family survived the ordeal. Thanks be to God.
Thanks again for thinking of us, Nan. At least someone did. I didn’t get a single call from the blood kin in California :(
Hey cowboy, I was no only thinking, I was praying. Thank the Lord you guys are okay. Keep your head down during this storm season.
We absolutely keep our heads down this time of year. You'd better, in this part of the country.
In my line of work, heavy weather stops everything, so I'm always home with my family during those times. That definitely works out for the best for us.
Thanks again.
