Former U.S. President Bill Clinton predicted Monday Mitt Romney would lose in a general election match-up against President Barack Obama.
Clinton told ABC's "Good Morning America" he doubts Romney could rebound from a tough Republican primary and negative ratings.
"Mr. Romney has a different challenge than I did," said Clinton, a Democrat who came back to win a second term in 1996 after a difficult primary and high negative ratings. "Even though he had a bruising primary and higher negatives and I did too, mine was just one long character attack. It was a personal attack on me. You know, 'You shouldn't have this guy be president.'"
Clinton said he was able to stage a comeback because "the American people are inherently fair."

Hey Billy... I’m really sorry ‘bout your friend and all, but don’t you think you could help us out by exposing Obama? Then none of us would have to worry about Romney getting anywhere near DC, either (I think half of the GOP-e could go down with the DNC if we did the job right when investigating and bringing charges against ALL the accessories to Obama’s fraud and forgery).
I may get flamed, but I don't care. The way I see it is this: the moderates/ RINO will always be part of Republican Party, but they only occupy about 1/3 of the members. The failures to nominate a conservative on the top ticket are not caused by the presence and actions of the RINOs, but by the inability of the conservatives to come up with ONE candidate. Yet, instead of looking at the mirror and do something about it, they put the blame solely on the RINOs. Again, and again. Not much different from liberals who never take the blame.

“Ah don’ get it, ah really don’t. Huh?”
William J. Clinton
And Obama isn't going to re-qualify to be on many State's ballots.
So without Obama, who is Bill saying Romney would actually lose to?
Hmmm... lemme think...
Payback is hell, he won't get my vote ever. He is NO different then obama. He spit in the face of conservatives & he thinks we will give him what he wants? Pure arrogance. A vote for him is a vote for a mini obama. I can't wait until they call me for money or ask who I voting for.
THIRD PARTY!!!
Mitt 0bamney is just the slightly less Socialist of two candidates.
I won’t hold my nose to vote for either of them.
Romney bought and paid for every vote he got. They money also paid for destroying others along the way. He deserves it right? Obama will do to romney what the RNC would not allow Newt or the other primary candidates do; talk about romney’s negative issues. romney has not been vetted, but obama will be glad to do it.
I think the Republican Establishment has always viewed Comrade Obama as unbeatable by any of the current candidates. With a Republican Congress there's a chance of heading off the Dictator's legislative takeover at the proverbial pass. Of course with Executive Orders ("Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Pretty cool," in the words of Paul Begala, advisor to President Clinton), that explanation makes less and less sense. That's especially true in terms of the Comrade's warning today about the power of an "unelected" Supreme Court.
The old Chinese curse says: "May you live in interesting times." We do.
What’s Bill’s Freep name?
He sounds more Freeper like than we do.
Youre getting flamed. The rinos run the party and always have and after RR have made damn sure no conservative will get near the whitehut again that is unless Newt can take down romney.Thats what I want to happen.
That’s the problem. You’re only one conservative, who happens to like Newt. There are many other conservatives who prefer Santorum, or other candidates. My point is that RINO will always have their own preferred candidate, and that should be understood as given in any election. It’s up to the conservatives to offer ONE alternative to the RINO’s candidate. Yet, as you said, after RR conservatives failed to do so. For this reason, I argue that conservatives should look at the mirror when they’re complaining about RINO.
Everyone knows what Obama stands for. He’s on TV 24/7 and he is still under 50% in most polls. Romney is going through a challenging primary and most people haven’t heard his message yet and he is within striking distance of Obama.
Gas is $4.00 a gallon (not sure what it will be in November), unemployment 8.3%, Obamacare is under attack. These do not typically spell out a landslide for the incumbent. And Obama’s message? I read today it will focus on taxing the rich and class warfare. That does not sound like a winning message. Also, you can’t forget the 2010 midterm schelacking, which no one saw coming then. And Mitt Romney is no John McCain with his train wreck of a campaign and dysfunctional staff.
DUH!!!!!
This isn’t news to anybody but the GOP.....
Everyone knows Pepsi-lite is better for you than Pepsi. Yet Pepsi outsells Pepsi-lite...everywhere...all the time. Obama will wipe the floor with his Caucasian mini-me....
