The Trayvon Martin case has exposed some of the media's worst tendencies--selective editing, rushing to judgment, stoking anger for ratings and page views--and it's taken more than fake photos, the incendiary stumbles of Geraldo Rivera and Spike Lee and verbal clashes between Piers Morgan and Toure to shine a light on them.

I never used to think anything about race or color, only honesty and integrity (ie. character) but today I have to worry about color, hoodies, language, tennis shoes, etc.
I blame the Media for most of todays problems!

Heh, how about the Media and Obama?
Business as usual for the MSM and my tagline.
Watch this video and you'll see two noble black gentlemen doing exactly that. They'll have you saying "Yeah! Why aren't more like this guy?"
Takes great courage...few have it nor desire it, it's enough for them to play low key for in doing so they can claim..."I tried"...
The day of true heroic men are gone....it will cost them their family, homes, reputations and life. The hearts of men have grown cold....lukewarm doesn't get the job done.
I have been subject to seeing the coverage in the Miami area, and it has been VERY BIASED. The media in Miami (local media) is so pro-Sharpton, the press here may as well give him his own damn channel.
Any coverage that PRETENDS to show BALANCE is immediately contradicted by something like “But Trayvon’s family says otherwise....”
I’ve had to turn off local Miami media. Sure would be nice, though, to have reporters who told the whole story in this town, not just the Al Sharpton mob version.
I did listen to the entire video. But it does not give me hope things will change. There are simply not enough speaking out, and further with the Liberals control of the media it won’t ever get out.
Manning has been ringing the bell for some time now and still how much has that changed the mindset? It is generational and it is inbedded. Why work when the ride is on someone elses dime? Why be a father when the government will take care of the child’s physical needs? Why work when one can play and still get paid?
This is not going to go away or change...I am convinced of that. And when the Stuff hits the fan it’ll only increase all the more.
And when the money runs out and we stop paying the lazy bastards, they’ll riot like in Greece and Spain
I know personally that it has gone downhill from the 70s. In the military, I learned that color had nothing to do with decent people...today I learn that the Media is trying their best to take us back to the 40s.

The media is controlled by the left and pushes the left's agenda. Race baiting and divisiveness is a big part of that.
If we all 'just got along' they would have a tougher time justifying more and more guvmint programs and interference with our lives to deal with the 'problem'.
My guess is that if Trayvon had been white, the initial comments here - from the right - would not have been much different. It's the left that immediately made it into a race issue. The media yes, but also the NGO's, 'community organizers', and politicians right up to the top. The media is just one element.
So very true! There should be some shame but I’ve seen none from the Media.
Yes...and while doing so rob and steal from those of their choosing....and call it survial of the fittest. That means us.
