I know personally that it has gone downhill from the 70’s. In the military, I learned that color had nothing to do with decent people...today I learn that the Media is trying their best to take us back to the 40’s.
I never used to think anything about race or color, only honesty and integrity (ie. character) but today I have to worry about color, hoodies, language, tennis shoes, etc.
I blame the Media for most of today’s problems!
The media is controlled by the left and pushes the left's agenda. Race baiting and divisiveness is a big part of that.
If we all 'just got along' they would have a tougher time justifying more and more guvmint programs and interference with our lives to deal with the 'problem'.
My guess is that if Trayvon had been white, the initial comments here - from the right - would not have been much different. It's the left that immediately made it into a race issue. The media yes, but also the NGO's, 'community organizers', and politicians right up to the top. The media is just one element.
So very true! There should be some shame but I’ve seen none from the Media.
