Vice President Joe Biden emphasized the stark changes he believes have changed politics Sunday, saying that the GOP had become unrecognizable from the party he once knew.
“This is not your father’s Republican party. This is a different party than I’m used to,” Biden said CBS’s on Face the Nation.
Biden said the Republican electorate has changed, forcing their party’s leaders and lawmakers further to the right.
The vice president pointed to many newer members of Congress, saying they had blocked efforts to work with Democrats. Even though “the idea of compromise is alive and well in Congress” the “minority of the Republican party control[s] Congress, [so] there is no room for compromise,” said Biden.

Biden should look at his own party, past leaders like JFK and Hubert Humphrey would be appalled by what their party has become. We have George McGovern to blame for starting the far leftward lurch of the Democrats, though the antecedents of the party of big government started with Woodrow Wilson and FDR. The GOP unfortunately is divided too. There is the party of conservative values espoused by Reagan and the Tea Party and then there is the so called “moderate” GOP of Romney and McCain which is little more than a lite version of the Democrats.

My father's democrats were also the party of both liberals and blue dogs. Today's democrats are the union leadership, inner city minorities, academia, Hollywood, and George Soros. They don't care about working families anymore. It's now the party of abortion, eugenics, handouts, dependency, and control.
There seems to be a liberal bent to the repub elites but the dems are all socialist, marxist communists and seem to be proud of it.

Question is Joe, how much further to the left can the Democratic Party go before it implodes from the weight and hot air of radicals. It has always been the party on the wrong side of right, for racism, segregation, white supremacy, the black plantation, race baiting, welfarism, Socialism, militancy, slaughtering humans, not to mention demagoguery, rabble rousing, corruption and despotism. And with the Joe and Obama routine, we can add idiocy and gross incompetence. Meanwhile, there is truth behind Joe’s ignorant rumblings, conservatives are pushing the Republican Party back to the principles of the founders, the real Fathers deserving of our attention.
