Very funny, but I seriously doubt many, if any, of these are attributable to the people they claim to be. I couldn't find ANY site that legitimately sources the jokes. But even if some are legit, they aren't nowhere near as mean, nasty and vulgar as the documented ones I posted. Most stuff like this you receive in an e-mail is either incorrectly attributed, mixes fact with fiction or outright bogus.
That's been circulating for a couple of years by e-mail. I seriously doubt it's for real.
Sandra Bernhard looks like Patrick Swayze (R.I.P.) in drag.
I never believed it for a second. I was watching Leno some time ago, and I remarked to my wife that he usually spends the first five minutes of his monologue slamming Republicans while sparing Obama any harsh criticism. That night, as usual Leno opened up his monologue with a tirade directed at all the Pubbie candidates. Then he made a weak jab at Obama. With that my wife triumphantly announced that proved that Leno wasn’t biased. The next night Leno again during his monologue launched into a heavy attack of Pubbie candidates without even one mild Obama joke. Yeah, I smirked, Leno isn’t biased at all. My wife stared daggers at me.
We DVR’d his interview of Mitt Romney the other night. He was actually respectful, and surprisingly, the audience cheered Romney quite often.
For the record, I like Leno a lot. His observations about American habits are frequently hilarious. But he’s obviously a liberal and in the bag for Obama. Face to face with a Pubbie candidate, sure, he’s going to be respectful. But I’ve listened to enough of his monologues to know where his heart lies.
So that explains the perpetual “someone rubbed poo on my upper lip” look.
Of course they did, since Romney really is a Democrat in Republican clothing.
