Chelsea Clinton, moderating a panel on women in politics at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan on Wednesday, told the audience that she has something in common with Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke: their experience being the subjects of Rush Limbaugh attacks.
Introducing Fluke, who entered the room to loud applause, Clinton said, "She and I have something in common: we both have been attacked by Rush Limbaugh. She was 30, I was 13."
Clinton was referring to the1993 incident in which Limbaugh said she looked like a dog on his television show ("Socks is the White House cat. But did you know there is also a White House dog?"he said, holding up a picture of a teenage Clinton).
Limbaugh provoked outrage for that comment,

Glad you posted that (urban myth) I couldn’t imagine Rush saying that and was wondering if it was true.
Good old Mollie. Funny, I don’t miss that demented looney. She and Ann Richards were big buds. Used to drink breakfast together a lot.
I admit that is an urban legend, but they were both known to be lushes and good friends.
LOLOL!
That image is a walking DNA test.
Indisputable!
Hitlery got you Billy Boy, the evidence is “your daughter”.
OMG! Well I have no doubt now she is going to run for a political office.
Buffalo Bob would be so proud...
LOL uh huh! yep.
One of his best episodes was when Clinton was elected. Rush said: "I can't believe we actually did it, but we elected one of those 60's hippies to be President. Never thought it would happen." His show ended with a bunch of counter cultural icons/symbols and the song "I don't give a damn about Viet-NAM".
OK, I'll bite, when YOU saw the episode in question, how did YOU interpret Rush's reaction?
Nobody saw the episode in question.
It never happened.
Did you ever see ANY episode of Rush's TV show?
As much as I like Rush, I remember it well. Rush used to go to his board with a pointer (like a teacher). Rush made some gesture, like he was "embarassed" when Chelsea's picture came up. And NO, he did not make the "hubba hubba" eyebrow gesture. He even turned away from the screen, as if he knew it was inapprpriate.
I don't doubt that Franken is an ass. Or that Media Matters "got him" But I'm not going to deny what I saw.
You didn’t see the episode because that episode never happened. Since the episode in question never happened, I didn’t see it either.
Molly Ivins, who started this urban myth, didn’t see the non-existent episode either.
Honestly, I’m not going to go back and forth with you about this, it’s more than ridicuous.
Right, NOBODY saw the episode. We all hallucinated it.
Again, I’ll play. Among the episodes of Rush’s TV shows that you’re an expert on, which one was your favorite?
Grow up you Chelsea, you idiot.
The honest way to look at the whole story is that if you accept that Rush was probably making a vague referrence to Chelsea Clinton (and he was not the first pundit to point out that she was an ugly child -liberal commedians were doing it for crying out loud), then you should also accept that Obama was referring to Sarah Palin, when he talked about putting lipstick on a pig. Personally, I believe that both are true. Not one of Limbaugh’s finer moments. The difference is that Rush is our attack dog, and Obama is a saint in their camp.
