And Captain Zimmmeman knew that fact when he was apprehending Travon and if charged can use that as a defense. Sorry FRiend, that is not correct.
Zimmerman was not apprehending the individual in question, he was observing his actions and reporting them in real time to the proper authorities.
Your pejorative use of the phrase "captain" is most illustrative of your agenda.
Whether black kids murder each other is not relevant, each case should be decided on its individual merits, not hypothetical, liberal, race baiting BS.

“Police brought Zimmerman into the station for questioning for a few hours on the night of the shooting”
So the cops did “detain” Zimmerman that night, correct?
Sheesh!
Most of this insane media circus is based on the false media induced premise that Zimmerman just waltzed on home minutes after admitting to shooting another human being.

My understanding of Florida law is that if you are arrested and arraigned on a felony charge, the state has 175 days to bring you to trial. The prosecutor’s actions are totally justifiable. If they had arrested Mr. Zimmerman, they’d still be investigating, except the clock would now be 145 days instead of 175.

What are you talking about?
Your post is entirely irrelevant or am I missing something?

State Attorney said there wasn’t enough evidence to get a conviction. That says it all about this case.

Huh, Zimmerman was never arrested?...What are you talking about? No, he was not arrested. He was detained for a while at the police station, but not arrested. In order to arrest him, they'd have to charge him with SOMETHING. But there was not enough evidence to charge him, so he was released, but they can still arrest him if new evidence comes to light.

Serino filed an affidavit on Feb. 26, the night that Martin was shot and killed by Zimmerman, that stated he was unconvinced Zimmerman's version of events. I'm unconvinced also. Too bad the first detective to interview Zimmerman about the shooting was a narcotics officer rather than a homicide detective.

Some more info coming out:
-Assault victim was 5-9” while the teen football player was 6-3”
-Two separate witnesses (one a black teen) saw that Zimmerman was the one on the ground.
-Teen was shot at extremely close range which backs up the claim there was a struggle for the gun.
-Leaks from the police report detail Zimmerman telling police he was heading back to his truck when Martin knocked him down with a punch to his nose, jumped on him, repeatedly banged his head on the ground, then tried to grab Zimmerman’s gun.
In a struggle for Zimmerman’s gun, the watchman shot the teenager, Zimmerman told police.
