Before there can be a trial, they have to find a crime to accuse Zimmerman with and then put it in front of a grand jury.

People have been falsely accused before and grand juries have been lied to, but if this goes to trial we really will be in trouble, not just Zimmerman.

And when did Hispanics get to be crackers?

Hell, even the old black panthers don't like these clowns. These clowns are the chocolate klan.

There are no good crackers, and if you find one, kill him before he changes - Khalid Abdul Muhammad, founder.

“We have a common enemy: the white man. And the white man’s system, his way of doing things, his way of operating. That’s what we mean by ‘the white man.’ His military, his planes, his aircraft carriers, his bombs, his missiles, his imperialism, his colonialism, his Zionism. That’s the real enemy, what we call the white man.” - Malik Shabazz.

Do what you have to do. I will.

"Zimmermann" means "carpenter" in German.

I was taught it meant "hosteler," as in "innkeeper." "Zimmer" is German for "room," so a Zimmer-mann would be a "room-man," or one who keeps rooms for let.

In the age of Obama:

Peruvians=Whites and Spics=Crackers *

In all honesty, if George Zimmerman is a "white hispanic", Tiger Woods is a white golfer, and Barack Obama is a white president.

* Exceptions: When successful, Asians are grouped with whites, as the ethnic group "Whitesanasians". When the victim, Hispanics are grouped with blacks, creating the ethnic group "Blacksanhispanics". When the perpetrator of violence against blacks, Hispanics are grouped into the ethnic group "White Hispanics".

and I’m advised that in Florida, “cracker” refers to original colonial-era English and American pioneer settlers of what is now the U.S. state of Florida, and their descendants. So that’s not accurate either.

I guess the public schools need to spend more time teaching racial hatred and bigotry so these sign-makers can get their references correct /sarc

I laugh when they spout "cracker" which is not at all a slur. They can't seem to paint anything that will stick.

I’ve been wondering too where people are coming up with the idea that Zimmerman is a Jewish name.

Probably because of Bob Dylan.

I think that is because we "crackers" lend no power to the word.

Blacks call each other ni$$er all the time, but when they do it it has no power.

For some reason when a White uses the word, it take on an entirely different meaning.

...in Florida, “cracker” refers to original colonial-era English and American pioneer settlers of what is now the U.S. state of Florida, and their descendants.

Many of these settlers raised cattle. "Cracker" is said to have originally applied to Florida cowboys who drove cattle by cracking bullwhips.

These folks need to get their history straight. The term cracker was applied to black house slaves who did the whipping of the black field hands, thus the term cracker from the cracking of the whip.

A good book on this subject is black crackers and white liberals.

Trayvon Martin is what the American Left has long wanted. Their very own Horst Wessel

Or at least their latest Horst Wessel. They've created a number of martyrs over the years, including Joe Hill (executed for murder in 1915), Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti (executed for murder in 1927), Julius and Ethel Rosenberg (executed for espionage in 1953), etc.

Of course, as you probably know, lots of Jews have names that are the same for Gentiles. Was his father or mother Jewish?

A Zimmermann makes rooms. If he's a master at this trade, he's a Zimmermeister (master carpenter).

Sometimes the name is Jewish, sometimes it isn't.

Ethel Merman's name was originally Zimmermann--it appears that she was not Jewish. (She played the mother-in-law in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.)
