On Face the Nation Sunday on CBS, Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum explained that his view of the Trayvon Martin shooting differed significantly from the one held by former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Worst part about this is watching Rick trying to make a point. What a bumbling, fumbling speaker he is when he gets off his talking points. He needs a teleprompter as well, but Obama will still slice and dice him in a debate.
Don't read the article - watch the video.

Rick Santorum, M.D., Fellow of the American Board of Psychiatry???/sarcasm

It is quite disappointing to see Santorum stating that a Neighborhood Watch LEO would have a sick mind simply for protecting the property in his patrol sector.

Your observation of his speaking ability is spot on. You watch him give one of his victory speeches compared to Newt or Romney, and he comes off as a total failure. Sad too, because I had hopes for him when he jumped into the race, but watching him in a debate or two, I knew he was not going far. Obama would slaughter him, no doubt about it.
His wife Karen however would make a fantastic First Lady, but he is never going to give her a chance.

Has political correctness become so ingrained in our culture, and our politics, that even a conservative feels the need to bend over backwards, to prove how liberal he is?
Santorum is right there with everybody who claims this was a racist shooting??? Why does he do that? Because of PC thinking? Because he’s afraid of being called a racist himself if he doesn’t join the bandwagon and convict Zimmerman in the court of public opinion????

This whole story is another OJ soap opera. Why anyone running for public office would comment on it is beyond me.

That would seem to be the case.
The MSM is failing to report all the facts about Trayvon that have been posted on more objective websites.
Nothing in the MSM about Trayvon’s arrest record, nothing about his gold teeth, nothing about why Trayvon was in that Neighborhood, nothing about Trayvon’s prison like tattoos, nothing about why he would be wearing a hoodie and nothing about the rumor that he was a drug dealer.
Instead, the MSM fabricates a mugshot of Neighborhood Watch Captain Zimmerman and alters the 911 tape of Cap. Zimmerman Calling the department for back-up.
