Some conservatives have a message for President Obama after he got personal Friday while discussing Trayvon Martin's shooting death: We're personally offended.
Several right-leaning pundits and politicians are blasting the commander-in-chief's remarks about the killing of the unarmed black teen, going so far as to say the President is race-baiting.
Obama declared Friday that if he had a son, he'd look like 17-year-old Trayvon, who was shot and killed last month by a neighborhood watch volunteer in Florida. The shooting has sparked massive protests across the country, in addition to a furor over race and justice.
On Friday, Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said Obama and his comments were "disgraceful."
"It's not a question of who that young man looked like. Any young American of any ethnic background should be safe, period," the ex-House Speaker ranted during a radio interview with Sean Hannity.
"Is the president suggesting that if it had been a white who had been shot, that would be OK because it didn't look like him? That's just nonsense dividing this country up….Trying to turn it into a racial issue is fundamentally wrong," he added.
Obama said the boy's parents "are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves," adding, "We're going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened."

Based on the president’s early formulations of standard fellow-traveling apologetics, he couldn’t say anything else.
According to one report I seen in FRs the kid laid in the morgue for 3 days before his body was claimed. In another report the shooter was being assulted by the kid who had him on the ground verified by an eye wittness and testified that to the local cops.
I now truly feel that the Race-baitor-in-Chief is an out and out racist by the way that he can’t help himself to always go out of his way to exploit a blackman’s situation into ‘victim-hood’ when the situation involves another person of different color.
Mr. President? How about the black kids that have been killed by other black kids in Philadelphia, New York, Chicago EVERY WEEK?

Witness: Martin attacked Zimmerman

ORLANDO - A witness we haven’t heard from before paints a much different picture than we’ve seen so far of what happened the night 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed.

But one man’s testimony could be key for the police.
“The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: ‘help, help…and I told him to stop and I was calling 911,” he said.
Trayvon Martin was in a hoodie; Zimmerman was in red.
The witness only wanted to be identified as “John,” and didn’t not want to be shown on camera.
His statements to police were instrumental, because police backed up Zimmerman’s claims, saying those screams on the 911 call are those of Zimmerman.
“When I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point,” John said.
Zimmerman says the shooting was self defense. According to information released on the Sanford city website, Zimmerman said he was going back to his SUV when he was attacked by the teen.
Sanford police say Zimmerman was bloody in his face and head, and the back of his shirt was wet and had grass stains, indicating a struggle took place before the shooting.”

Obama stepped in it with the comments he made about race and now his campaign has to go on the offense against the GOP for calling him out on it.

Murder is rampant in Chicago...his home town. Those parents should be asking that question. What about their sons?? Where the outrage for them?????

I don’t think that’s true, I think it was more like 12 hours or so.
What this whole affair really shows is the bankruptcy of our modern journalism establishment. Why haven’t they put together a solid summary of events? Every one I’ve seen is lacking in major, known information, much of it available on the City of Sanford’s web site.
He’s good at instigating violence while looking like he really cares about uniting.

Youths, Asians, Extremists, are some of the favorite code-words for Muslims but there are more. Muslims have assumed that dubious category where they are just so far crazy violent and out of normal decent behavior, that it is somehow racist even to record or report anything they say or do for some reason. I don't understand it.
It is actually complimentary to Whites that they are attacked so viciously by the media. The media has the expectation that Whites will behave in a normal, decent, adult, and moral way. Whenever they don't, the media considers this to be news.
The media has no expectation of decent behavior from other minorities. When a minority kills another minority, it is considered a ‘dog bites man’ story and is not ‘worthy’ of coverage. When a White behaves one time, in the identical way minorities do every single day, all hell breaks loose and it is covered in every new outlet in the world.
Kinda cool, really...in a way.
Obama could commit a human sacrifice on national tv, and he would still get 95%+ of the black vote.
