Then it would have been the dispatcher telling him “we don’t need you to do that” then, not don’t continue following him, or don’t follow, or stop following that is an order, just “we don’t need you to do that”. What I heard was that it was a 911 operator (a 911 call). Do you have a link to corroborate your claim that it was indeed a direct call to the police dispatcher and not 911?
You are free to shuffle through the many documents....in one of the transcripts it is noted that Zimmerman called the Sanford Police Dept...not 911. He was advised he didn’t need to do that (follow suspect). It’s out there. Have at it.
I know where I live you can call a police station for any non-emergency and speak to a clerk....911 is for emergencies only! It seems Zimmerman understood the difference.
