The Rev. Al Sharpton, slated to be in Sanford this evening at a rally for slain teenager Trayvon Martin, tweeted this morning that his mother died but he will make the Central Florida appearance.

Has he attributed her death to Zimmerman yet?
I guess his attending to his mother’s death wouldn’t give him any publicity. Sad. Maybe he can take care of that relatively unimportant matter after he exploits the death of the Florida man.

He KNOWS the press will be good to him - as they are with all their liberal pets. See it to believe it...

Wow! That’s mighty white of him.
I thought the only "mother" in his family was him.
Fixed that for ya!
I’m sure Al will be at the Trayvon rally *right* after he gets back from the rally for Allen Goin, the white kid set on fire by the black kids who said, “This is what you get, white boy!”
Riiiiiiight after that.
Yep. Right after.
I won’t be surprised if he uses the occasion to exploit the situation. We’ll see.
publicity whore...........
Al the racist is back, must be a camera around. One of the least biased journalists at NBC.
Pray for America
bttt!
Neither snow nor sleet nor death of Mom can keep Big Al from his appointed race baiting agenda.
Has Al Sharpton ever expressed any remorse or apology for his role in the Tawana Brawley case?
Who appointed Al as some sort of spokesman for “Black America”? What exactly has he ever done to promote civil rights? What exactly has he ever done to encourage ghetto youth to stay away from gangs and drugs and all of that?
Why is he “reverend”? Is he an ordained minister? In which denomination? Where is his church?
It just gets me that this guy has been on TV over the years, popping up in tragic cases, and we’re supposed to be liberal and listen reverently to his words of wisdom. What has he done to earn the right to be some spokesman for people in the black community?
And why does he get a pass from the liberal media for his role in cases such as Tawana Brawley? If a white man had been so involved, I think he would still be shunned to this day.
