Including Lee Harvey Oswald who was peeking over Harpo’s shoulder!
Imagine if they found Amelia in the plane still alive? People would freak.
Not really. They found a few items, the most promising was a shoe that was of the same type as one that Earhart owned, but it turned out to be at least 3 sizes too large for her.
>>Robert Stacks credentials as a historian are, of course, untouchable.<<
Never mess with Eliot Ness...
I knew Harpo, my wife’s cousin bought his sport fisher.
>>Yep, but I bet she never missed a chance to vote in all these years!!!<<
Kennedy, carter, clinton and barry the zero all appreciate her vote.
Or the Travel Channel with some sort of `Ghost Adventurers’/`Storage Wars’ angle:
“Amelia Earhart, if you’re here, say something!” Zac Bagans

She was pretty good looking from the pictures I have seen of her. The car is a 1936 Cord 810 Cabrolet. This was the best looking of all of the Cords IMHO.
It's not more than a half mile east of where Noah's Ark is located.
If you would like your own copy of the map I take ALL major credit cards and PayPal.
Because this is more important than our State Department working to see LIVING prisoners of war returned to the United States.
Ate her??
You know we don’t eat people in the Ozarks.
Well I mean for the most part.
I mean you know a liberal every now and then don’t hurt nuthen.
Where’s my teeth?

I’ve only seen Cords.
Why not look for Ambrose Bierce, Oscar Zeta Costa, and Malcolm Lowry?
I think that’s mostly true but Ted Noonan was a known alcoholic and last minute chosen as navigator. He had been fired from Pan Am for what some say was a constant drinking problem. Originally 4 were to travel from Hawaii to Howland Island, but after Earhart’s crash in Hawaii and the time it took for repairs, the route was reversed so it would be from New Guinea to Howland and only Noonan accompanied a reportedly exhausted Earhart. Many believe she just couldn’t find the tiny Island even though she established one way (they could hear her but not vice-versa) radio communication with the Itasca just off Howland and just went down when fuel ran out. A group searched with remote subs in her estimated location and found nothing. Rick Gillespie of TIGHAR.com thinks she made it to Gardener Island now called Nikomorro (sp.?) and has been searching since the 1980âs and although some artifacts have been found, nothing definitive. I think TIGHAR had a plan for another search this year in 2012, leave it to Obama to bud in.
