Right now I can see no way I would vote for Romney.

However, if he picks a VERY CONSERVATIVE running mate, and IF the platform is a solid Republican platform - in that case I might hold my nose, vote for him and then hope for a stroke, heart attack or otherwise debilitating illness to remove him from office.

If Romney is the nominee, I will vote the down-ticket with a vengeance, and leave the top spot blank.

I’m done compromising with the party elites.

Impossible. I can't vote for a pro choicer even if it means 4 more years of Obama.

Not to mention Mitts poor record on the 2nd amendment, gay rights, Romneycare, ect etc etc etc ad nauseam.

And brain washed cult member to boot on top of all that?

So not gonna happen.

Yep, we are in sad, sad shape.

PS For what it’s worth, i think the idea that Romney is “electable” is ridiculous. He has flip-flopped on social issues, and there is a fine line between “attracting moderates and independents” and “not presenting a true choice. Republicans will be accused of not really opposing Obama’s policies, but just wanting a white guy to replace him. And the media outlets will do a number on Romney as soon as he is assured the nomination. Romney could be an electoral disaster for the Republicans even without conservative defections.

And again i ask: is there any Republican of national prominence who was MORE supportive of Obamacare, or its principles, than Romney?

I am trying to make sure the Republicans nominate a conservative.

If it’s Mittens I will leave THAT line item as an undervote. I WILL NEVER VOTE GOP-E AGAIN! If Obama makes it in again I would MUCH rather him, the Dems, RINOS(GOP-E) and the Washington “Elite” take the BLAME when EVERYTHING comes CRASHING down!

When we all realized that Obama was bad for the country we gathered in to groups and discussed what should be done.

We protested, followed the rules, and for a while we had the upper hand.
Most of us then returned to work and took care of our families and realized that the candidates we had chosen in “our minds” to represent us didn't want the job.
We now sit back and see our country fall apart.
There are so so many dot coms and groups that want to do their own thing and NO ONE wants to come together as a whole.
We are splintered and have no one to unite us.
We are stuck with an Obama want-to-be (Romney) and we can't stop it.

American’s aren't mad enough yet. They aren't willing to get out of their comfort zone and come together to rid ourselves of the sewage that runs this country.
So, I say, I will not vote for Romney because he is no different than Obama.
He won't do anything but take care of his moneyed friends and we will still be in the same mess four years from now.
Be it Obama or Romney I don't care and until the rest of you get to a point where you are willing to get away from the computer and posting opinions instead of protesting and organizing, nothing will change. let me know (as I'm sure a few of you will ZOT me and call me names......
This why the Libs are winning.

I will vote for him if he is nominated because I don’t think he will beat Obama anyway.

And I am for Newt.

If we elect a RINO 2012, we guarantee a lib president in 2016, with no conservative progress made between now and then. Mittens has a history of appointing liberal judges.

A vote to sit on your hands is a vote for a communist who's determined to bring down our country.

I will not sit on my hands and allow my childrens' country to go down. Never.

I really irritates me that the GOPe just simply expects me to vote for Romney as nothing more than a referrendum on Obama. Obama is driving us off the cliff at 200 mph, while a Romney Presidency would get us there at 180 mph... so consequently, I see no discernable difference between the two of them except that Romney is a rich, white, prissy dork who only got this far due to his cash and being propped up by conservative media.

I will be voting on princple this, and Romney is "severely" lacking in that quality. So there is no way in HELL that I will vote for him. I stood by and voted for McCain and for Dole because that's what the GOPe wanted. Well, not this time.

I will vote Romney, considering him to be a placeholder.

I think he will make improvements in our economy and in our foreign policy.

I’ll probably vote for him, but I will leave the Republican Party permanently.

Because if McCain and Romney and guys like John Fund are the Republican Party, then clearly I am not.
