I have seen a lot of FReepers state that they would NEVER cast a vote for Romney. That is my gut reaction as well. Mitt is on record saying that I will vote for him eventually. His arrogance makes me want to prove him wrong and write in a candidate. But I fear that will lead to 4 more years of Obama. Until I stare at the ballot in November, I don't know for sure what I will do. If it is a choice between Obama and Romney, what will you do?
cut down on the coffee
go for a walk
pry your hand off the keyboard
you're not all that important!
thanks for the laugh! lol
“you would have a lot less likelihood of vetoes coming from a Republican president of Republican bills than a Democrat president”
Democrat bills too.
Pataki was disastrous for NY.
I have held my nose and voted for the cleanest turd for the past 56 years. This may very well be my last Presidential election and I WILL NOT do it again! The idea behind voting is to enable the electorate to choose the candidate most capable of performing the job — NOT the one the media has picked! This time I will vote for the person I feel is best suited for the office — even if that person isn’t on the ballot.
Sarah Palin!
If that’s a vote for Obama, so be it. A vote for Romney would be no better for America.
It's because of non-principled, loathsome, weak kneed cowards that keep us in this retarded established state. The insistence of voting for rino hacks like Romney to keep the boogeyman away is the epitome of dense!
Talk about dim bulbs!
Nope
Sorry you have an inferiority complex, I don’t.
To vote is to pretend that it makes a difference, I think it is long past time to pretend anymore. There is no justice in the land.
Based on your appraisal that the GOP Congress is worthless as well, you really aren’t going to have abig role in electoral politics in America.
Now you’re going to let Obama be reelected because of Mitch McConnel. OK.
My point about a GOP establishment was they are not “controlling” the nomination process. Gingrich and Santorum have won lots of states. They may still win it all. Fight for them to win. All the talk of what the GOP is doing to the nominating process is sour grapes in advance. There isn’t even a nominee yet.
Even Palin said should would stand by Romney if he's the nominee. She has said from the beginning of this process - ABO.
Yes.
Wait, now if we don’t get the nominee we want it proves the secret forces behind Obama also control the GOP?
I’m sorry but some of this stuff is just nutty. How about voting for someone else in the primaries???
“I know he appointed liberal judges in Massachusetts, but the Republican establishment would never allow him to appoint another Sotomayor or Kagan.”
Which Republican establishment are you referring to? The one that approves Obamas judges as fast as he nominates them or the one that makes a big show of investigating the Fast & Furious operation and then rolls over and waves a white flag when Holder simply refuses to comply with the subpoenas? Or maybe you’re talking about the Republican establishment that brought us McCain and tried to buy us with Palin as VP only to do everything possible to torpedo their own candidates.
If that’s the Republican establishment you’re relying on to save us from Romney’s excesses you must be living in an alternate universe!
I will NEVER vote for Romney!
Yep, it’s done, and I would not be surprised at all if America is too, or all of western civilzation for that matter.
That is her choice. Mine is different and just as good.
I won’t for Romney in the primary. Should the race end up between Zero and Romney, I’d definitely make it a point to go (hold my nose)and vote for Romney.
Anybody but Zero.
Heck YES!
If conservatives vote for Romney and he wins, he will need to govern more conservatively or risk losing re-election. He will have to at least listen to our concerns (unlike with BHO).
If conservatives don't vote for Romney and he wins, he will know that he can govern without caring about conservatives. We will have shut ourselves out of the process.
If conservatives don't vote for Romney and he loses, then we are (arguably) partially at fault for whatever BHO does over the next 4 years.
If conservative vote for Romney and he loses, we are no worse off than if we didn't vote for him and he lost.
I don't know yet who will win, but I am practicing holding my nose, 'cause I ain't thrilled with any of them.
No, never vote for Romney and no question about it - won’t vote for Obama.
It’s easier to BLOCK a clear Marxist, anti-America, anti-Israel and pro-Islam President like Obama, than it is to block a President of your own party that lies through his teeth and pretends to be something that he’s not.
