Newt is far more conservative than Santorum
03/14/2012 | Entropy12

Newt was the force behind Contract with America. That resulted in GOP win after 40 years of losses. Newt helped president Reagan balance budgets and create millions of new jobs, as Speaker of the House.

Well you better hope Newt stays in it because the only thing standing between Rick Santorum and the Romney Deathstar ad campaign is Newt Gingrich.

[ Sorry to say but both Newt and Santorum are losers in a general election. ]

The Obamaoid will BBQ Willard.. like an ant in a magnifying glass..
Negrodamus knows exactly how stupid most Americans are..
Willard may get 40 or even 30 percent of the vote..
Maybe less..

ONLY Newt can take on this Propaganda King.. this Provocateur of Misdirection..
NO Newt...... NO win..

Newt doesn’t seem to be able to close the deal.

In fact, outside of SC, he doesn’t seem to be able to even open the conversation on closing the deal.

Not sure what the dynamic is, but it does not appear that he will be the nominee.

Old rivals team up on health care campaign
HIL & NEWT, IT’S A HOOT!.
BY JAMES GORDON MEEK DAILY NEWS WASHINGTON BUREAU
Thursday, May 12, 2005

WASHINGTON - Sen. Hillary Clinton joined with Republican ex-House Speaker Newt Gingrich yesterday to push health care reform - the most bizarre teaming since her husband became pals with the President he defeated.

Clinton (D-N.Y.) admitted it was an “odd mix” to appear publicly with the archconservative former GOP leader, who fought bitterly with former President Bill Clinton, but said they “have a lot in common” on the issue.

Each also is said to be eying a 2008 presidential bid. To some, their pairing means “the end is near, it’s a sign of the end times,” Hillary Clinton cracked. But the reality is, “I think it’s just a sign we can come together and solve a real problem for America.”

I think you need to tone down the rhetoric, a bit.

King David sure made his mistakes, did he not?

I voted Santorum, in KS, but I still have great respect for Newt, and you are not helping the Conservative cause by trashing him.

Rick Santorum, Mr. Bipartisan Compromise – and Mr. Pro Wrestling?

Santorum sought to portray himself as someone who worked with Democratic colleagues to get things done.

“But to get things done, you’ve got to work together.”

He continued: “I teamed up with Joe Lieberman to make college more affordable for low income families. And Barbara Boxer and I wrote a law protecting open space [Google: Open space generally refers to undeveloped land or water area].”

“I’m even working with Hillary Clinton to limit inappropriate material for children’s video games,” Santorum said as the wrestlers all stop for a moment, seemingly stunned, “because it makes more sense to wrestle with America’s problems than with each other. I’m Rick Santorum and I approved this message.”

Point of clarification: Reagan never had a Republican majority in the House of Representatives. That and a period of balanced Federal budgets did not happen until after the 1994 election and the end of Democrat rule in the House. Clinton took credit for it, of course, but it was Gingrich and a fresh faced Conservative Congress who got it done.

Santorum got elected, more than once, in Union dominated Pennsylvania.

Newt has never won anything, by defeating a strong Democrat.

I like Newt, but this trash is ridiculous, that you are stacking on Rick.

NO Newt...... NO win..

It's a simple as this. With Newt and Santorum, you'll have most of the conservative base, lose a good chunk of the middle/middle-right leaning voters including an important chunk of the women's vote.

With Mitt, you get the middle of the roaders and smart lefties who know Obama is a disaster but lose good chunks of the south and conservative base.

It's a loser any way around.

True conservatives have endorsed Newt. Palin, Fred Thompson, JC Watts(I think),
Chuck Norris, and many more I can’t think of right now. Compare that list to who has endorsed Mitt and Santorum.

Obama would beat Santorum in Pennsylvania.....easy, peasy.

All this may be true, but Santorum has locked up the Church Lady vote, so it doesn’t matter.

I’ll vote for Newt if he gets the nomination, and without holding my nose. I like Newt, always have.
