I will do a sidebar comment to you, friend, that I hope Rick Santorum cleans their clocks tonight in both states and does well in Hawaii (maybe the results in Ala/Miss might influence the caucuses in Hawaii but not sure, as they are probably ongoing at this moment...and it seems like Romney/Mormon missionary territory out there in the islands; lets home the conservative Catholics, retired military, and evangelicals on the island turn out). Having said that, to lurkers in the loyal opposition--though I have nothing to say to Romney supporters, except perhaps "get lost!"-- I wish all the Newt supporters a good night tonight, in the sense of healthy competition, and but course root for my team as well. Especially a shout out to some I have had some semblance of cyber/political fist fights with over the last several days. The last thing I want to be accused of is being a lousy winner OR loser, a lousy sportsman. Believe me, I have had my share of "losses" this season with Romney stealing elections, MSM/Laura Ingraham knocking out Herman Cain whom I still believe was the best, etc. etc.

We’ve learned to HOLD those county tallies back until the cities report.
Something curiously goes funny when the outlying counties come in for the conservatives. Go figure.

Prayers going up for Newt and Santorum!

If Santorum was an honest man, which he isn’t, he would withdraw and put his delegates behind the only Republican who can defeat Obama.

FoxNews might be streaming via their website. They do that sometimes with news events.
CNN has a live stream going.

If true, they didn’t at my precinct.
I was Republican voter #59.
Democrats had over 200.
Ballots are completely different.

It looks like Rick will have a good night. Finally they are saying that Romney won’t have enough to win in Mississippi. He can’t overtake Santorum. If that is true, that is a relief.

I don’t see how Romney can win the heart of the South without gaming the system...and if Santorum wins (well, I honestly don’t know what to say except I am moving to Uruguay or Uranus).

Well, you know that I don’t like you, but you said that in such a nice way, I need to say thank you, thank you very much.
It was a tough flu and I wouldn’t even wish it on a Santorum supporter. ; -)

Obviously, more voters in more states, other than a couple southern states, like Santorum better.
If Newt can’t win in the primaries, he can’t win in the general election.
Facts are facts.

Umm...an obvious social dynamic? Big difference in income and education level between outlying and dense suburban areas, which is clearly reflected in vote outcomes.
