And Romney will win most of the large West Coast delegates, New York, PA, NJ, etc.
Santorum is toast, and we are stuck with Romney. But you are correct, Santorum will jump at teaming up with his fellow RINO Romney and gladly accept a VP spot.
A Romney/Santorum ticket would be a sure loser.
“Santorum will jump at teaming up with his fellow RINO Romney and gladly accept a VP spot”
Yes but won’t happen because this would result in a purely northeastern ticket.
I don’t think so. Santorum is not really liked, he’s just an acceptable alternative to Romney for some at the moment.
If Romney does get the nod, I expect him to pick someone who would help energize a divided base, probably an evangelical.
I think Romney would pick someone NOT for the Northeast. He’ll probably pick someone from the South or Southwest.
But I hope he doesn’t get to pick anyone, especially Santorum.
Go NEWT!
This was the original plan anyway which is why Santorum joined the race. He would have quit after SC or FL if things had gone according to plan and Newt had dropped out and Ron Paul had not gained any traction.
Santorum, like Romney, is part of the Karl Rove group.
