Andrew Kaczynski of Buzzfeed discovered this little gem of a video, in which then-law student Barack Obama spoke at a protest in favor of Harvard Law Professor Derrick Bell.
Kaczynski explains what the protest was all about.
Bell was the first black tenured professor at the school, and a pioneer of "critical race theory," which insisted, controversially, on reading issues of race and power into legal scholarship. His protest that spring was occasioned by Harvard's denial of tenure to a black woman professor, Regina Austin, at a time when only three of the law school's professors were black and only five women. He told Harvard he would take a leave of absence a kind of academic strike "until a woman of color is offered and accepted a tenured position on this faculty," and he launched a hunger strike to dramatize his point.
Obama was a major figure on campus, the first black president of the Law Review. Some friends, in a prescient joke, just referred to him as "the first black president." He had a reputation as a conciliatory figure, not a confrontational one like Bell.

Something is very WRONG in the “Fourth Estate”.
WGBH is the PBS station, too.
WGBH is the PBS station, too.
No kidding?
Oh brother.
Gosh, remember the day when our presidents had such wonderful credentials — many DID go to Ivy Leagues, but were on debate teams, football teams — or were West Pointers, or war veterans of some kind.
We used to elect real MEN.
I guess this could be a reflection of the fact that we don’t have a lot of real men left in society at this time, save for a few.
The first drop drips.
So would I.

From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
Profile: Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour
"Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour is a Muslim lawyer and a black nationalist who made news in 2008 when it was revealed that he had been a patron of Barack Obama and had recommended the latter for admission to Harvard Law School in 1988.
Before becoming a Muslim, al-Mansour in the 1960s was named Don Warden. He was deeply involved in San Francisco Bay Area racial politics as founder of a group called the African American Association. A close personal adviser to Huey Newton and Bobby Seale, al-Mansour helped the pair establish the Black Panther Party but later broke with them when they entered coalitions with white radical groups."
...
Al-Mansour is an outspoken hater of the United States, Israel, and white people generally. In recent years he has accused the U.S. of plotting a genocide designed to remove 15 million black people, considered disposable, of no relevance, value or benefit to the American society. He has told fellow blacks that whatever you do to [white people], they deserve it, God wants you to do it and thats when you cut out the nose, cut out the ears, take flesh out of their body, dont worry because God wants you to do it. Alleging further that Palestinians in Israel are being brutalized like savages, he accuses the Jews of stealing the land the same way the Christians stole the land from the Indians in America.

Very public rewards should be posted to people who went to school with him, that have credible (if not incredible) inside information, written documents, videos/tapes, flyers, etc, anything at all, to tie him to Marxist-Leninist or black panther/black separatist type activity, which I am sure, if you dig under the surface is just waiting there to be found wrapped tightly all round his entire World of Saul Alinsky. Tapes and photos are the best. They must necessarily exist. There should be a value put on them. Of course, at the end of the day, the question would be, “do Americans care or even give two farts about whether they are enslaved under the Tyranny of Ameritopia or not?”

Although it [The New Black Panther Party] says it sees capitalism as the fundamental problem with the world and revolution as the solution, the new party does not draw its influences from Marxism or Maoism as the original party did. Instead, in a carefully-worded, roundabout form of ethnic nationalism,[8] they say that Marx based his ideology and teachings on indigenous African cultures, and that the NBPP therefore need not look to Marxism or Maoism as a basis for their program, but can look to ideologies that stem directly from those African origins.

SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?
IMO they believe it all right; his supporters just don't care.

It includes part of Obama's introduction of Derrick Bell, including the hug that Charles Ogletree chuckled about having buried before the election.
There are rumors that candidate Obama said some things at the dinner that would upset the American Jewish community and Israel leaders.
I agree. On the surface the video isn't nearly as bad as the Rev. Wright video in 2008 and Obama was still elected president.
Knowing Breitbart’s (Bretitbart being Breitbart the entity) “style” I have to wonder what else do they have that they will reveal prior to election day. My gut feeling is they may have video that is far worse of bozo but are waiting to release it at the right time for maximum effect.
Obama is fully backed and supported by the Communist Party USA, they openly admit it but very few people live long enough to report it.

After the election....
A Landslide Mandate For Change
A breakthrough election
Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!
We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-peoples movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all peoples movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.
The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and peoples unity.
There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.
The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

July 1, 2009...
Change is Here, Change is Coming
Sam Webb, National Chair, Communist Party, USA:
Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.
In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.
We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.
We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.
In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.
Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.
Isnt it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?
Cant we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?
And isnt the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system a system steeped in racism no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?
All these things are within reach now!
