I wish I could have run Newt’s campaign from the beginning. He is a great supporter of small government. I would NEVER have allowed him to skip those mid-west states. I would have had him go up there and work to grab those states from Santorum. I would not have allowed him to skip any states from there on either. I would not have had him spend so much time in Georgia. I think Newt cut himself short thinking he didn’t have Georgia in the bag. He did. He should have gone to Oklahoma, Tennessee, and I would have had him run up to Alaska to speak with them too. I know it is easy to be a Monday quarterback, but I am so upset with Newt’s team. He had complete control of this primary and could have gotten the nomination. My mother in Pennsylvania is all Newt....she is pissed that I support him but want Santorum more.....man what a disappointing son. lol. The good news now is that Newt will collect many many delegates and at the convention with his persuasive ability to sell himself, he could get the nomination. I think Palin going to Mississippi, Alabama AND Kansas for Newt would be helpful. Again, Newt giving up on another state (Kansas) is not a good decision IMHO.
Maybe an extra day or two in Okie land would have flipped the state to him.
Here is some 'good news' for Rick that his Oklahoma delegate count went up to 14. ;-)

But Myth's delegates are now at 13 for Oklahoma
And so did Newt's reach 13 too.
;-)
I will detest Romney till my last breath and never vote for him for many reasons, but also for ruining this primary for all of and particularly for Newt Gingrich when he was running away with this election on a purely positive campaign, touting real solutions and new, bold ideas.
I think Newt Gingrich is short of money and likely can’t compete in Kansas, -— never mind the SuperPAC money which is separate. Big money Romney makes me almost deathly ill and I can’t stand to watch him or read much about him. He’s bought and cheated his way throughout. I don’t believe that any of the other candidates would have stooped anywhere near his level. He’s the one who needs to be forced out.
Sarah Palin has said that she is afraid her endorsements hurt as much as they help, but I hope she campaigns for him with Governor Perry in Texas. By saying she voted for him last night and her previous statements before South Carolina, people know she is for Newt Gingrich. On site campaigning would really help, (I think).
GOOD ON YOUR MOM! God bless her, she is a beautiful, very smart lady!!! You’re a brat of a son! LOL. Just kidding!
I agree, I don’t think Newt’s campaign has been well managed at all.
Newt should have been in TN early BEFORE early voting started on Feb 15...
I didnt even get a yard sign till last week..
When early was almost over...
Of the early voting in my county...4500+ voted way down from 2008
about 2500 went to Rick, 1500 went to Romney, 941 for Newt a few for Ron Paul...
of course Romney started his ugly phone calls early too..
but he was dissing Rick and not Newt...
Opening the campaign offices here earlier than last week would have helped lot too...
Do you think Bob Dole will come out in person Saturday for Romney? A lot of KS people are establishment Republicans and have been for generations going back to Alf Landon.
