For years politicians have paid people to call into talk radio, why wouldn't they pay people to post on Free Republic. Especially if you have an account from 1999? I want a conservative party. I am sick of the GOP establishment leadership.

Santorum can pull off some wins, we can wipe Romney from the headlines. The Fox News shills can see their heads explode, and we can get some debates where Newt can actually go unleashed on these bastards!!!
I like Newt but he didn’t win Oklahoma. He didn’t win Tennessee. He didn’t win Virginia. He may or may not do well in Florida. That leaves a sparse set for the south since Texas does not seem to be going his way either. Look I would rather have Newt than any of the others at this point . I am still sending him money because of my dread of the others. But I am also one who sees a very very very difficult task ahead
Not at all. I get sick thinking Romney has the possibility of winning this primary....if he does we know Obama will win. Romney will never stand the blows coming his way and he's given the Obam machine plenty to fire with and then some. The guy is a weakling and simply doesn't stand in his own skin.
So no...I can't see any circumstances where I will vote for Romney....In fact if he wins I'm done with the political arena and will focus entirely on my family and getting us ready for the rough waters we'll all be facing ahead.
As I replied to caww, I am not against Newt. I prefer him to the others left in the race. I continue to support him and will vote for him in my primary. I also know what a difficult task lies ahead. Not all things go the way we want them to.... more’s the shame
I vote next Tuesday and my vote goes to Newt Gingrich.

This means Romney doesn't get Illinois. I firmly oppose the media ploy that rats are voting for Rick, Newt or Paul. I think Rats would LOVE Romney.
We can win Illinois we vote March 20th!!! Get the word out to friends and family to vote. Let the rats fight in their own primaries!!!
Look Wall street money took Newt out in Florida....and the fact you don’t know that ONLY Romney and Paul were on the slate in Virginia says you’re not up on what is what.
Romney’s only been taking the easy states....and do not underestimate Newt....even Pres. Clinton, of all people, said not to do so. Newt will make his moves when and as he sees necessary and he has said he will take this to convention and so to convention it will go....watch and see. ..and this to be assured Romney doesn’t get the primary win.
But the good news is almost every Congressional District has a challenge for the Democratic ticket for Congress which helps us conservatives. The crossover Romney crossdressers have to vote in their own elections!!!

Make of it what you will but Mittens won the most conservative part of the state which is SW Ohio.

Newt’s up against formidable powers set to keep him out as no other candidate. Newt needs to stay the course....and will...he IS a fighter....all who want can say he’s out for the count....but you see Newt doesn’t hear the referee!
