Post your observations and comments here. The key contests, IMHO, are Tennessee, Ohio and Oklahoma. Newt and Santorum need to win at least two of these three.
Of course, all three would be better.

Per Shep Smith on Fox (disgusting as he is), if Romney doesn't have a clear win in VA (jousting with Paul)...how can he be the GOP hero?
Well, the anti-Romney always wins!!!

I hope Newt wins, but it looks slim. I think Newt could take Obama (but of course in 2008, I thought Donald Duck could take Obama - I didn't count on the mindless "cool" factor.) Santorum, I guess, hopefully, if not Newt but not at all sure Santorum can take Obama. If Romney wins I don't know what'll happen.
I think we're nearing the end of the age. The left is becoming more viral by the day/hour. I see things lining up more and more rapidly for the End Times. Unpleasant changes are afoot in the world but the good news is Jesus is coming soon.

I got to the polls about 3 pm and waited in line for about 10 minutes. No Newt people outside the polls. Only one Ron Paul sign and one Santorum lady asking for my vote.
I voted for Newt and all of his and Ricky Perry’s at-large delegates (we had a long list and could pick up to 14) and then I voted for all of Newt’s committed delegates (we could pick up to 7).
I voted for Newt in the TN primary. Other than that we had one uncontested race for a county position and three judges to pick from for a circut seat. I live in Williamson county.

Sitting in the Canyon County Idaho caucus atm. Few hundred here. From the supporter signs I’d say Romney, Santorum, Paul split in first round, losing Gingrich and Roemer. Second round will be where the fun starts here.
I don’t even think I saw a Gingrich table coming in.

Shepherd Smith has a deathly pallor tonight.
Looks like Santorum's got some more problems ahead. No only did he not make the Virginia ballot, not only is going to miss out on delegates in Ohio, but Illinois has the same problem and he won't be on the D.C. ballot at all.
Ed Rollins thinks this is over for Santorum if he can't stop Romney in Ohio.

Voter turn out very low at my precinct in NE Ohio. Voted G and was a toss up between G & S. Will pull the GOP lever in Nov no matter how distasteful. Me must get rid of the filth in the white house

Pathetically low turnout in my precinct. Friend had no waiting at 7am and at 10am when I went the place was empty. Both are VERY unusual.

Sadly, Donna Brasille made a statement that is too true: Romney’s gains are mostly from his negative ads.
Currently,
Santorum strong in TN, OK. Holding even with Romney in OH.

CNN has exit polls, which is interesting - but one weird observation about CNN’s coverage - I think they picked the least flattering picture of each of the 4 GOP candidates that they possibly could’ve used. Newt and Paul appear to be yelling/scowling, Santorum looks completely befuddled, and Romney’s hair is all messed up - it looks like someone just gave him a noogie.

Romney’s wins are not impressive. Newt and Rick were not on the ballot in Virginia, and there’s no chance Vermont and Massachusetts will go Republican in November.
