The national issue still appears to be the economy. The mid east might heat up but Santorum is the biggest war drum candidate and that will not sell well to a fatigued general electorate. Pro life will not be the deciding issue in general.
What’s up with Idaho? I thought it was supposed to be one of the most conservative states in the nation.
Cool thing that CNN did on the virtual convention and illustrating the delegates.
I must give kudos to CNN for providing the most informational and unbiased converage. They do a good job. Much better than Fox with their undercurrents of nastiness and Rove/Romney cheerleading.
Well said.
Idaho has a lot of Mormons.
Santorum wins North Dakota!
Mitt in 3rd.
Glad to help....having made about a zillion such slips, I’ve become somewhat of an expert in identifying them. ;-)
Hank.
Yes, that "spontaneous outburst" of "USA, USA" was a little weird and seemed awkward and scripted, like the laughtrack on an old sitcom. Very 1980s, it makes me wonder if his campaign party organizers think those of us clinging to guns and religion could be won over on the cheap by a nostalgic chant from 1980s Olympic hockey. I can picture some guys who've never experienced any emotion during the national anthem sitting in a backroom somewhere writing Romney's speech and putting down the instructions : [Pause when Spontanous USA Chant begins.]
Idaho = fairly big Mormon population...
Give my regards to Nurse Ratched.
No different than yesterday. Those threats have existed awhile.
I detest Brit Hume. He deserves whatever pain he’s received.

I have, OHIO statewide, about 71% of the vote in, with nearly 16,000 votes separating Santorum from Romney, the sep was 14,000 just a little while ago. Gap is growing in favor of Santorum. Turnout is not high in strong Romney urban counties. Cuyahoga is about 40% already in, I think it is something that even if the remaining Cuyahoga votes remaining oddly went en-masse to Romney, it might not be enough to turn the state around for him. Of course, there are some other counties out as well, or partially in. Still, with 71% in with that vote gap of 16,000+, it is looking better for Rick Santorum. Fat Lady has not sung yet.
I was neutral on Mitt Romney until one of the debates, I think Florida. The man’s gall; his continued trashing of especially Newt Gingrich, ..... I came away actually despising the man.
Saw a tweet from someone who said he’s given up traveling to Uganda for Lent and that so far it’s going very well. ;-)

Yes, many wearing magic underwear in Idaho.
Holy moley, you are right. I am switching to cnn too.
Ugh, that bit with Wallace, Rove, and MyGyno nearly drove me insane!!
“So this in OH looks great for Romney.”
“But what if it doesn’t work out great for Romney?”
“well, if it doesn’t turn out great for Romney, that could still be good for Romney.”
“in fact, if it doesn’t turn out well for Romney, that could actually be even BETTER for Romney...”
I would hope we remember Andrew Breitbart in spirit.
I am still sad for his young family.
take care
