sadly, one piece from Santorum.

lol. You just tickle me. I think you are so neat. I loved how you put that.....even though I am supporting him, that was so funny. The only problem I have with tonight’s primary is the other two will not debate Newt in MS or AL. I especially can see Romney saying no way. Sometimes the debates are pretty entertaining and informative.

The 2 thousand “boobs” that voted for Perry and Huntsman sure didn’t help.

I think the fix is in! Coincidentally the final votes are counted in areas strong for Romney? It’s just like Michigan! I’m not big a believer in conspiracy theories, but this definitely makes you wonder if someone up the food chain is pulling the strings and giving us the candidate THEY want!

While I tend to agree - it wouldn't matter it Rick eaked out a popular vote victory in Ohio - his campaign didn't have a full slate of delegates so he still would be beat on the delegate count by Romney.

It's coming down to numbers.

P.S. - Romney will get 149 delegates in California (winner take all state) - his minions will flock across to vote there one way or t’other.

Ron Paul/Dennis Kucinich on an independent ticket would make Obama $%#@ his pants...especially if the war drums(Iran)are beating loudly come November(the leftists hypocrisy will only go so far)....a MUCH bigger nightmare scenario for him....than Mitt.

Add to it possible riots during the G8 summit(wish it would have stayed in Chicago...my supply of popcorn would have been plentiful)....and throw in $5/gal. gas this summer.

November is still a long ways off, a lot can happen between now and then.

On another note - Mitt is looking more and more like General W. T. Sherman Romney - unstoppable.

It is beginning to look that way, and it may be too late to alter the trend. Had either Santorum or Gingrich dropped out and thrown their support to the other, the anti-Romney vote would have carried Ohio tonight.

A couple of observations that may be unpopular. :) I note that Santroum nearly won Michigan and will come in second in Ohio by a very slim margin; I believe his social conservatism is helping him, not hurting him, with GOP voters in the Midwest, and that he is much more appealing to blue collar GOP voters than Newt (but I'm not sure why, he just is). Also, I thought Santorum would win Ohio outright, and Romney's strength here was a bit surprising, given how close Michigan was last week. One more: I think Romney, if nominated, will have strong appeal to independent and Democrat voters (those that aren't bat-crap crazy libs) in November. People are looking for an excuse to ditch Obama, and even a weak conservative like Romney will benefit from that. Remember, McCain was leading the polls in Ohio until his disastrous response to the financial panic of September, 2008.

The unadulterated good news of the evening is that GOP turnout was significantly higher than in 2008, which has to be depressing to the Socialists.

Santorum's problem in Ohio wasn't Newt.

Correct. Rick's problem in Ohio was... Rick.

LOL! I remember that. McLame “suspended” his campaign in order to fly to DC to sit dumbly at a cabinet meeting with GW Bush. What a freaking tool. Can't believe AZ keeps giving him the nod.

Newt 16 Delegate. But in Danger of losing them all if he falls below 20% in one CD.

District 9 that includes the city of Memphis and part of Shelby county.
