My husband was on a TWR out of Pearl Sub base. They used to fish on their trips between the islands or when they just sat waiting. My husband had his nose broken by a 60lb Mahi Mahi. The guys got it up to the open end of the boat (where the torpedoes were put) and my husband grabbed it in a bear hug, it reared back and slapped him in the face breaking his nose.
In Fallon Nevada he had a scorpion sting him in the stomach when he was spotting targets in the deserts.

Good morning, Linda Frances
Thanks for joining us and sharing that great story about your husband’s adventures. From now on, every time I eat Mahi Mahi, I’ll remember your husband.
What happened after he got stung by scorpion? Was he sick? Did someone have to suck out the poison?
