A flower company is the seventh advertiser to pull its ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program in reaction to his derogatory comments about a law student who testified about birth control policy.
ProFlowers said Sunday on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program...

Pro Flowers is a rip-off anyway. They charge about $30 just for delivery.
Thanks for the list. I’m printing it out and posting on my basement bulletin board.
I have seriously been considering a sleep number bed. They won’t be getting my $2.5K now!

Yes.
Well, this was my experience:
At Rush’s suggestion, I went to their website to order the $29.95 bouquet. There were various discounts offered. By the time the order was placed, ther order price amonted to over $60. Then, the discount came into play. Surprise, surprise, the discount is good only on your SECOND order.
They sent an email to ask how I liked the service. I told them that I thought their service was misleading, etc. They sent me another discount. My mother did not raise a dummy, and I declined. I’ll never order from them again.
And the flowers weren’t that nice, either.
I report; you decide. (I did not blame Rush. I blamed myself for falling for such a scam.)
This is going to blow over and the feminazis end up looking like the fools they are. Rush ceded a technicality which had virtually nothing to do with the issue he was preaching about. Who cares if Fluke uses her own body like an alley cat, which remains to be documented. We care very much that she advocates and sympathizes on behalf of taxpayer subsidized alley cattery.
Interesting, I got a 40% discount email coupon from PRO Flowers this morning about five minutes ago.
Maybe an “oops” moment?
Excellent post! This is just another “story” to run with
to “occupy” the news cycle. It keeps the real problems caused by the radicals on the left on the back burner.
With a complicit media, they’ll keep this up until Fall.
I would let them know it too...
And of course Rush is not going to say “be careful, they are offering X% off your next order, not your first one.”
“Levin and Hannity should drop the advertisers who dropped Rush”
That’s not how it works. All the shows need advertising bucks to survive. How far can you go on survival food and gold? Pretty soon all the conservative talk show hosts will be saying how much they love Rush but they just can’t support his inappropriate use of the word slut....and Rush will understand that it has nothing to do with loyalty.
For what it’s worth, Clear Channel is standing by their man.

If they couldn't ‘get him’ when the prescription drug thing occurred, they're not going to get him now. We can help. A boycott of these advertisers IS in order. In addition, we need to put together a list of those companies that advertise on programs that have made egregious slurs against Palin and others on the right - especially if those companies happen to be on the list of those pulling their advertising from Rush. Finally, we should send letters to the remaining companies that are advertising on Rush's show, and tell them we are specifically going to buy their products because of their bravery in the face of media hype.
The old fashioned way of stiffening a mattress was to put a bed board beneath it. Some enterprising soul should sell something like four different stiffnesses of bed board.
I just emailed customer service at Pro Flowers demanding a refund for my Valentines day purchase. I told them I had been too busy to “rush” my refund request sooner.
They may regret their action.
Rush should say good things about his advertisers - - they are not scum - - they are playing the political game as defined by the liberal media.
Remember who the real enemy is; never lose focus.
I’m not complaining, I’m ridiculing.
