ProFlowers just announced on Facebook that it is dropping its advertising on Rush. DailyKos and others had been organizing a boycott of ProFlowers, which had held out until now. For full article here is the link:

We are all saying pretty much what the Catholic bishops have finally said: “We will not submit.”
We order all of our flowers locally. A way to keep business local and help the town survive. These conglomerates don’t care about any of us only the $ and bow to political pressure at the drop of a hat (by freaking CHEAP liberals, no less).
At least I can tell a local business to go to hell face to face...lol.
Another alternative: You could get an external terabyte drive and just do it yourself.
Ironically, I will now boycott ProFlowers.

I have a nephew in college using Sugar Sync. Works great...you are continually being backed up if you are internet connected. Works with Mac too. They also have a free version that backs up 5 gigabytes

If we’ve got a problem with the left organizing boycotts and pumping online polls, then we need to stop doing the same. Criticizing what we also do is hypocritical.

Thank you and most florist I know want their customers to be happy. When you need flowers call directly to the town where the person lives and order direct from a local florist, you will at least get your full money’s worth. When you order from the 800 #’s they take a chunk out of the order money and then pass the florist the remainder. So the florist fills the order to the amount they were given.
Seems we are all focusing on the WRONG apology.
I think Newt got it right when David Gregory started on the ‘bash Rush’ meme:

Need a list of businesses that advertise on liberal talk shows so we can boycott them.
Sometimes a phone call is more effective - but my thoughts are a lot more collected when I type, and I also find I don’t wind up saying as many things I have cause to deeply regret that way, too. I kind of feel sorry for the workers at the lower end of the ladder who will be fielding all of the calls and e-mails these companies are in the process of getting from irked Rush listeners and from the loony Left both. What a week they will have.
What if the companies simply got ‘the offer they could not refuse’ to abandon Rush...
Just a thought...
My message will be:
You have been ‘Fluked’. Big time. Rush listeners support Rush’s advertisers. When your sales begin to drop precipitously on Monday, you will learn the hard lesson that the radical Left activists and feminazis will not make up the revenues you have lost by caving to the rabble and abandoning Rush. If I were Rush, when you beg to come back, my answer would be ‘no’. If he does take you back, you will still never get another penny of MY money. Have a nice day.
