NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

They don't have frickin' jobs...I went into a Homo Depot earlier today to price some items. After walking down the main aisle some distance, I turned to my wife and asked her if she noticed anything unusual about the employees. She had noticed the same thing I had seen...the employees were ALL older people...not a younger one to be seen. The ones I dealt with were very polite and very helpful...the opposite of the younger morons you usually have to deal with in retail.
Is customer service, strong work ethic, and knowledgeable employees back in vogue?
I have heard the libs make worse comments about Ann Coulter and David Letterman's comments about Palin and her young daughter were outrageous.
Maybe we should be contacting sponsors for the Jay Leno and David Letterman shows. I have not watched them the past week. Previously, they made disgusting comments regarding Newt/Mitt/Santorum/Cain/Bachmann. Every singly show I happened to turn in, they were in a frenzy to demean, including false allegations, regarding the GOP candidates. However, nothing about Obama.
It has been such a long time that my memory is going. About ‘95, I think. I once called myself a conservative democrat. Now, I’m just a Conservative.
Rush is RIGHT, AND he IS on loan from God.
bfl
I started listening to Rush from his first broadcast at WXYT-AM in Detroit, in August of 1989, I believe.
“E-mail just pretty much gets dumped right into the ole bit-bucket”

I agree. A good old fashioned letter is the best.
Apparently this loose gal wants the government in her vagina. . .
So their are a number of sponsors pulling their support cause they are truly astounded that Rush could be so insensitive
or
because they fear potential customers will associate their product with such blatant insensitivity.
Personally, I think this faux insensitivity issue is naive willful ignorance on the part of the departing sponsors. Their loss, someone elses gain. Tell ya what...
Soon as I hear who the replacement sponsors are, I’m buying their stock.
BTW...
Have you noticed that very few existing Rush listeners have vowed to tune him out?
Listener since ‘90. His sanity was about the only sanity I had during the 1st marriage.
I wish I had Carbonite so I could have the pleasure of canceling! I did however email them to say that, while I had considered trying them due to hearing them on Rush, there isn’t a snowball’s chance they will ever see a dime of my money - ever!

Ditto. Can't remember the exact date, but from the beginning. I had just bought a brand new Apple II GS, and found a 10 megabyte SIder Hard Drive for only $400.00. Barry Farber was my man until then, but he was slowly displaced.
Good idea to keep contacting these advertisers.
Isn’t Proflowers the company which sells sherrys berries? I think there is another affiliation with Proflowers. They also do Red Envelope, Cherry Moon Farms and Personal Creation.com. I have bought from Proflowers and Sherry’s Berries. I won’t be doing that again.
Stupid. Beyond stupid.
You must have hated a lot! /s ;^)
Question. What does it cost a company when many many people get ON said companys mailing list?
Good question. It must cost them something. If a company sends you junk mail with a pre-paid return envelope you can stuff it full of paper and cardboard and send it back. They pay for that mail by weight.
Advertisers Pull Ads From Unrepentant Rush Limbaugh
Put me on your ping list! ;-)
I had two sick days last year and I made it up. Go Figure
I didn’t use them before, but now I’m going to really ENJOY not using them. AND I’m going to make up false, bad stuff to say about them to all my buddies around V-day and Mother’s Day.
I have a long memory, and I’m vicious.
And how much do you want to bet Rush uses that exact tactic. Brilliant!
