Over the past day, weve heard from many great Citrix customers about our advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Show. These customers have expressed their growing concern that some of his recent comments seem inconsistent with the core values Citrix has always stood for humility, integrity and respect.
While Citrix obviously does not control any shows content or endorse opinions of their hosts, we do take the concerns of our customers seriously. When they are upset about something, we listen. After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue our advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Show.
Sincerely,
Brett Caine

After a couple of years of shaky revenue flow, it went off the air after filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in January of 2010....and liquidated itself.
Radio listeners prefer conservative talk radio, not radical garbage. How many far Left talk show hosts of national renown are there?
Err American could not attract enough advertisers to be viable....even financial assistance from wealthy commies couldn't keep it from going down the sewer from whence it sprang.
Radio is a great outlet for commercial advertising by smaller corporations and entrepeneurial companies. TV is too expensive.
These weasles that have quit Rush are going to find they made the biggest mistakes of their business lives. I will bet that more than one of them will take such a negative hit in consumer income that they, too, will go under.
Good riddance....most of them have products that aren't exactly high on anyone's "must have" list, anyhow. They need a good, believable salesman like Rush who has a vast audience to turn them into contenders in today's business markets.
This is what business is all about....i.e., the bottom line.....and it has little to do with some Georgetown slut's bottom line.

Nice to see Rush is cleaning out his dirty underware drawer and getting rid of useless, old, tired, wornout a##hats
There are 100s of sponsers waiting in the wings to sponser Rush. This will have no affect on rush Limbaugh!!!
Please go to the Facebook page and voice your opinion. It’s overwhelmingly in support of Citrix right now.
Most people who use Citrix because of the Rush ads aren’t using the products you’re talkiing about. They’re using GoToMyPC for remote PC access, with a few using GoToMeeting for conferencing. Citrix doesn’t advertise XenApp on Rush Limbaugh :P
Sponsors can drop all they want. I have a feeling that Rush’s numbers are going to skyrocket in the next few weeks.
I don't remember any ads like that on rush but I tend to tune out ads if at all possible.
Maybe they can make up the difference by buying ad time on Current TV. I'm sure their viewership is in the tens of tens.
“I use GoToMyPC every day. Is there an alternative application I can subscribe to?”

WebEx http://www.webex.com/ and yuuguu https://www.yuuguu.com/s/home are a couple that would be good. There are others including free ones. Once you switch and have just a little experience, I’m sure you’ll be very happy — both with the software and to have escaped another bastion of political correctness and a home of “useful idiots” and will never want to go back.
Apparently the folks at Citrix are idiots. As they said today, their “ core values Citrix has always stood for humility, integrity and respect.”
Ok, humility and respect. Yeah, that’s a good match for an irreverently humorous political show like Rush’s. Great decision making Citrix.
What a croc...
Fine, I’ll focus solely on ESXi then. Screw citrix. ;)
Google “concert oh!”. That’s their public product, but they also have one for businesses (forget the name of that right now....)
Looks like Carbonite is getting nervous also...

In "the enterprise," Citrix still rules: At least where MS Terminal Services are used. However that may be changing in the future, especially with VMware's View PCoverIP virtualization. We're in the process of moving in that direction. We still have 120 terminal services servers, but we're moving our corporate HQ to a fully virtualized architecture to start, and possibly replace all 5500 or so workstations in the field as well.

We are really progressing to a nation of wussified, feminized men. And they're supposed to be "captains of industry".
More like junior-grade camp followers.

Snapple gained a huge market while advertising on Rush's show. However, sometime after they were bought out by a mega-corp (Quaker Oats, I believe) they dropped Rush. And the quality of their drinks really dropped. Quit using real sugar, and I stopped drinking their products (I used to really LOVE their peach iced tea). I now see them touting how they use "real sugar" now, and use "the best stuff on earth," but I don't know if I'll ever go back to their products. I just buy 52oz fresh brewed iced tea at Quik Trip.

Heehee. Too bad their target audience there uses Macs, which I’m pretty sure has built-in VPN support.
Thanks!
