As the Rush Limbaugh show became embroiled in
Rush Limbaugh's attacks on a female college student are scaring off advertisers. controversy Friday, Cleveland Cavalier's owner Dan Gilbert made a hasty exit, declaring his company would no longer support the talk-radio host with advertising dollars.
Gilbert announced via his Twitter account that Quicken Loans Inc. was pulling its ads from the show in protest over Limbaugh's verbal attacks on a female college student.
"Due to Rush Limbaugh's inflammatory comments along w/valuable feedback from our clients & staff, Quicken Loans has suspended ads on his show," according to a 4:09 p.m. Tweet attributed to Gilbert.

I did like how Rush stated today that he had hope for the woman’s lib movement because they were gonna pick themselves up by the bra straps and carry their weight.
So this Georgetown woman is going broke because she cannot afford means to avoid becoming pregnant???
A caller posited (satire)that why didn’t she just go for an abortion which is already cost free?
On Thread, the leftist media is ill.
I wonder if they are already having trouble selling it in some markets...?
I get EIB on a FOX FM station that also carries Ingram, Savage, Hannity.
Im hearing A LOT more of Rush’s parody ads these days. I’m fairly certain these air in place of unsold local ad time.
Also - these Quicken and SC ads air during all programs - not just Limbaugh - so this could be hurting other conservative talkers on the same network - depending on how ad time is sold.
I’ll be sure to tell anybody who asks - - and I am in a related business and often get asked for advice - - to avoid Quicken Loans like the freaking plague.
Not yet. I want (can’t remember what they’re called) but it’s like a hospital bed.
I was going to look at SC. They have them but not now. I sleep setting up most of the time but I slide down and that’s not comfy. We bought our SC abt 1990 and it was close to 3,000 then.
Not sure about tempurpedic is made of. Sounds like it might cause one one to sweat. They make that kind of ‘hospital’ bed. Damit, can’t think what it’s called.
Why do you need one. Back?
Trojan! Now that would be funny.
The leftists are well organized and companies are scared of them
Are they also boycotting MSNBC??
Outstanding!
The ads are so condescending.
It's like they are making themselves sound like some kind of low IQ redneck.
In some parts of Dallas it's called Vatos Zone...
.
That was last year, leftist ethics change depending on who is talking and what political advantage they can get from selective outrage.
I dropped Turbo Tax when they left the Glenn Beck show.
Does everyone notice how almost all this folks use the term “Suspend”. I hope Rush sells their spots so when the come crawling back he can tell them to go to the bottom of the waiting list.
Rush’s ‘Rich Capitalist Fans’ only buy the good stuff.
People like OWS steal good stuff. Who do they think they’re hurting by dropping their averts? THEMSELVES! LOL

That ‘23 year old college student’ as reported by the media, is neither.
She’s not 23 and she’s not a student.
She is a 30 year old former President of a radical ‘reproductive rights’ thing though....
But it was all just dog and pony to get Obama’s radical, force religious organizations to pay for abortions, against their will, off the headlines..
Media sure don’t ‘vet’ when they don’t want to do they?
And so, we see another leftist hard core social diversion campaign roll out. From the debate to Obama verses the Catholic Church and back, to this 30 year old “coed” fluke to Rush.
I guess the PR campaign lives and breathes still even in this age of information.
Kind of sad, really if it wasn’t so predictable and humorous.
Worst thing WE’RE paying for all these “activists” that call and spook the CEO’s.
What leadership!
I pray for Newt and Sarah, I really do. It will be better than the circus to watch the socialists and unions starve a little.

We are dealing with the same thing from Quicken Loans. We had a bad experience in Nov. 2006 when we bought our home. Since Quicken Loans always watches for programs that would benefit a loan that they have had before they call periodically. I received a call in October. After explaining what a bad experience we had before I was reassured this experience would be different. I was all but guaranteed that our home would appraise at between $220,000-$230,000 based on the programs Quicken Loans has. I had also explained that my husband is self-employed and that was not a problem either. Credit scores were 750-753 so all was good now all I needed to do was give the $500 deposit on my credit card. Once I gave the deposit everything went downhill and just so happen there was not a loan out there for us. Im now emailing several quicken loans to try to get my deposit back. We are not in any need to do a refinance and I trusted that Tom at Quicken Loans knew what they were talking about. Their job is supposedly to take care of their customers. I also referred my parents and my sister to Tom at Quicken Loans which has be really scared now.

Yep. I used to have a neighbor who was in her twenties and being "mentored" by Planned Parenthood. She worked for the community college "creating curriculums." I celebrated the day that evil ***** moved.
