It’s not much of a move to the right.
Typical empty-headed Silicon Valley nitwit. Thinks Romney is “a switch to the right.”
So 40 is the cut-off date for being a brain-dead liberal? Then all we gotta do is wait it out, right? Eventually, they’ll ALL be joining us, lol.
Mrs. Prince of Space
Going Romney is not switching to the right.
Headline doesn’t match article...
Romney, eh?
Makes no difference to Soros. Romney=Bath-House Barry.
Talk about misleading headline....
BTW- Great job with Netscape, lol
You reach 40 and you start asking yourself “Why do I want to support the guys most motivated to steal my money?”
The title is misleading, it says he is switching to the right and then states that he is supporting Romney.
It can't be both.
Andreeson is the original inventor of Mosaic and the basic functionality of HTTP/HTML.
Romney is the left’s default candidate if BoBo crashes and burns in November.
I assume he had to walk way to the left first.
Before you guys start trashing this guy, you can pretty much thank him for this forum. I was at Illinois with Andreeson when he created Mosaic and ultimately Netscape which ultimately led to a commercialization of the internet.
I have spoken with him many times at school and out on the speaking circuit and he’s an extremely intelligent man. Not everyone sees the world the way conservatives do and they don’t spend the entirety of their existence immersed in politics. This is a smart, well-respected guy who through experience is starting to see the liberal ideology is chronically flawed and moving right. That is a good sign.
Good luck to the brave Mr. Andreesen and the companies he’s associated with. Let’s hope they fare better than previous liberal apostates who refused to bow down sufficiently to Democratic presidents.
For example, in 2000, Bill Clinton’s Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Microsoft, which was soon thrown out of court. The lack of any legal wrongdoing on Microsoft’s part was inconsequential to the Clinton administration, whose interest was solely in punishing a company that did not comply as enthusiastically with its extortionate demands for support as its high-tech rivals.
Unfortunately, the filing of this bogus lawsuit touched off the bursting of the dot.com bubble, from which Silicon Valley has never fully recovered. Let’s hope the Obama mafioso are not as vengeful as Clinton’s were.
Makes sense. Not much difference between Romney, Clinton and Gore.
