Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

I’ve known people who died of heart conditions or aneurysms in their 20s or 30s.
One was an Air Force lieutenant in great shape at age 25. He came up to bat in a softball game and just dropped dead on the plate.
This is not that unusual although given his enemies some degree of suspicion is not unexpected.
So, will New Jersey fly it’s flags at half-mast?
He died in LA; I’d presume Brown/CA won’t have CA’s flags showing respect for Andrew...
What tapes of obama are people talking about and if there are tapes, where are they?
they do but not in one so young and there are many ways to induce one chemically. I dunno if Andrew was a fan of conspiracy theories but in his passing he has surely unleashed a big one. Sort of a parting gift ...
Rest In Peace, brave warrior. You have left us too soon. Prayers up for Andrew's loved ones.

Recently he said he had video of Obama speaking during his college years....outted SEIU....got up in the face of Obamaites.....now a 43 year old healthy man dies. It is not believable that he died of a rapidly cobbled statement of ‘natural causes’. He had many enemies....most of them associated with obama.

I can’t believe he is gone...
The 25 yo lieutenant I mentioned above died of a massive coronary and a 35 yo major I knew barely survived one. These were military members in very good shape.
So yes, it does happen, even to young people.
Thanks RummyChick, beautiful song and so fitting today. He was a true journalist, he wasn’t bought. It concerns me that he never revealed the information from his visit with Ayers.
You can take some moral high ground if you don't do the same thing under similar circumstances.
