Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.
We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.
Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.
Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:
I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, andfamouslyI enjoy making enemies.
Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. Ive lost friends, perhaps dozens. But Ive gained hundreds, thousandswho knows?of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Wasn’t he about to release some embarrassing Obama videos.
I hope it’s a hoax.
Whatever is happening here, it should inspire a resurgence of the fight against cultural Marxism and the progressive agenda.
If anyone has any videos or any evidence at all on prominent politician criminals, bring it forth as soon as possible.
Massive Coronary...It happens.
This is stunning news. Andrew Breitbart is irreplaceable. His combination of talents was so unique, he was a gift to conservatives/libertarians.
He was devoted to his family, wanting to spend time with them, and objecting sometimes to his ‘mission’ taking time from his family. Hopefully, they find some comfort in knowing he did, in fact, love what he was doing.
Tragically, it is for real. I just went independently to the breitbart.com website without using the link and the announcement IS THERE. I have already given my prayers for his soul and his family. This is a horrible tragedy for America and the entire conservtive movement.
Crap.
It’s on Drudge.
How awful, this may be as big a blow to the conservative movement (e.g., individual liberty & freedom) as the passing of Lee Atwater.
Thank you Andrew. Let's roll.
WHAT???????!!!!!!!
I’m listening.....how sad. Did you hear him on Tuesday?
Andrew's Editor-In-Chief hosting show. Larry O'Connor.
Damn.
The left starts dancing on his grave in 5...4.....3.......2.........
Unbelievable!
RIP, Andrew. We’re going to miss you.
It is probably TRUE!
I went to Breitbart’s actual site and this is what I got, a statement from his wife.

I’m stunned. Completely stunned.
43 is awfully young, but my bro in law’s dad died in his 30’s of a heart attack.
Many people have hereditary heart problems that aren’t discovered until it is too late.
