Shades of the claim that pro-abortion, gun-grabbing, pro-illegal alien, anti-Gulf War Sam Nunn was a "decent and honorable Democrat". Then the freepers praising him told me they "lost a lot of respect for Sen. Nunn" when he campaigned hard for Obama and got on Obama's short list for veep. Fortunanately for me, I didn't lost any respect for Nunn because I didn't have any to begin with.
Some West Virginia conservatives practically handed the RATs a victory in last year's Senate race by constantly talking up Joe Machrin as a "decent and honorable Democrat" too.
RATs who endorse Obama, Gore, Clinton, etc., and vote for Harry Reid & Tom Daschle to run the Senate are NOT "decent and honorable", folks.
I didn’t say I agreed with him or that I’d vote for him just as I didnt agree with or vote for Hubert Humphrey but Humphrey was a more honorable man than that rat-bastard Johnson was. It’s a subtlety perhaps.
