Joining John B. Wells, paranormal researcher and philosopher, Jonathan Zap, will discuss how a disproportionate number of psychopaths on Wall St. and in govt. & corporate America are creating a culture with little concern for the future.
First hour: Physicist George Hart will talk about stupefaction of society and what perpetuates it.
Tonight sounds like it will be a fairly rich vein.

The average Wall St. investor must realize that any gains he realizes are merely crumbs that fall from the loaves of those who are wealthy enough to control the market.
Actually, when something like comes out of Coast to Coast, the reaction is to roll the eyes, but a similar statement was just stated by Friedrich Hayek during my reading of “The Road to Serfdom.” Hayek was writing that governments that insist on planning to control and coordinate the economy eventually creates a path to power for people who rule like tyrants. Hmmm.
Thanks for the heads up. I will listen.
Many Coast to Coast guests are very good.
Yep.
Psychopaths in government — I give you Bill Clinton
Psychopaths on Wall St. — I give you Jon Corzine - oh he’s a two fer.
A far more comprehensive list would require more time than either you or I have this morning. Two exemplars, certainly.
Feb 11 sounded great too until.. it turned out to be four hours of Bush bashing -- a continuation going on 12 years of it from C2C.
"John B. Wells welcomed Philip Marshall, a veteran airline captain and former government 'special activities' contract pilot, for a discussion on connections between the Saudi intelligence community and the hijackers on 9/11.
"In the first hour, former U.S. intelligence asset Susan Lindauer talked about how she gave advance warning about the 9/11 attack and became one of the first non-Arab Americans arrested under the Patriot Act."
LAST SATURDAY..
Wells says that they were pretty tough on Bush last week and he asked the guest (some kind of self-proclaimed expert) what about Obama shutting down NASA? "It is Bush's fault!" said the "expert." Obama is trying to undo the harm of Bush's and greedy "big space contractors'" socialist space program. Obama is moving things to the private sector.
If I heard right then I am justified in responding: No, Bush-hating, Obama-lovin' dopes, you are wrong. There was President Bush's Jan. 14, 2004 directive to promote commercial participation in space exploration. See below.
In 2006 NASA made an "unprecedented investment in commercial space transportation services with the hope of creating a competitive market for supply flights to the International Space Station (ISS)." "a break with tradition for the 48-year-old space agency . . . 'lets commercial industry gain a foothold. It could, and should, have profound impacts on the way NASA does business'" Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) Program
I was so happy to hear Mr. Wells was taking over Sat. nights.. I even emailed a thank you note as one of his appearances named Democrat names and DID NOT blame every wrong doing on Bush. I told him how C2C hates Bush and to watch out .. well, I guess he got the message from C2C.
To be fair, Noory is not the Obama worshiping dope that we was for three years -- he actually allowed criticism on Obama over the NDAA thing.
Tonight sounds good but it will all be Bush's fault -- hell C2C is even bashing Nixon but thanks to Punnett last Sunday the guest was forced to admit that not everything he charged Nixon with could be proved.
The Sasquatch show, heard it last night. He, Pundit, (the tinnitus guy)talked about the `wrecking crew` doing the instrumentals for many of the studio versions of rock classics now played the world over.
More like grams, since Ramona died.
Some guest are really ahead of the curve, and right.
ie..Mish.

Host: | George Noory |
Guests: | Michael Shedlock |
Financial pundit 'Mish' Shedlock shared his economic forecast. He sees America heading into a recession by 2008, brought about by a housing bubble collapse. Jobs associated with the rising housing market have supported the economy, but as housing values go down and fewer new homes are built-- a rise in bankruptcies and unemployment will occur nationwide, he outlined.
The other guest is there to talk about stupefaction -- gee, I wonder who that is about. I didn't check though.
A cursory search got this from Zap Writing about Brokeback Mountain..
(uncensored) "This is not the fastest moving movie. If two gay glaciers ever fell in love, their romance might move along at a similar tempo. They dont get to see each other that often because one lives in Texas and the other in Wyoming. Come to think of it George Bush and Dick Cheney are from Texas and Wyoming. Bush and Dick, does that tell you anything about which one is the top and which the bottom? But the cowboys are a helluva lot more likeable, especially since they work their thing out by fucking each other instead of the whole rest of the planet."
My reply about was an EDUCATED guess. I know them C2C clowns -- though Punnett had been out for a few weeks and had partly recovered.
I have listened to C2C since 1993. Lots of wacky stuff back then under Art Bell’s role.
Seemed pretty lame under the new round of hosts for quite a while. Every once in while a good cutting edge science guy or economist.
As of late, there’s more truth and logic on C2C than in the general media. Sometimes I think they have the wacko stuff on just to break up the seriousness.
I recall reading testimony before Congress how equity loans were financing the economy (during the 2000 recession after the dot-com bubble burst) -- a public admission IMO that the government and the FED approved of what turned out to be possibly the cause of Great Depression II. Maybe. IMO. Could be.
"Mish" is good. As I recall he is not afraid to name Obama as the problem even with Noory there. Back in Aug. of 2010 (2011?) Noory literally got furious with Professor John Lott for not addressing Obama as PRESIDENT! Obama.
Sadly true, but that is a rather low bar these days isn't it?
Thanks.
I cannot recall specifics but I definitely have not accepted any of their appearances on C2C as anything but what their bias dictates -- and the association with The Alan Colmes Show is telling. I have no TV and have never seen the Hannity show but I have heard some of Colmes radio and attempted to read one of his books. The first hour of C2C will be swoon over Obami and Bush bashing like the rest of the show.
Though C2C lost some stations recently it is still the most listened-to night time show in the country. I listen to it sometimes when the guest is interesting. I will likely listen tonight, I learned not to get by bowels in an uproar. Just take mental notes.
IMO these "nonpartisan" shows intend to influence the apolitical listener and that should be an ISSUE this (especially this!) election year.
Sponge Bob is way above the bar.
