Following are excerpts from an interview with Lebanese columnist Jihad Al-Khazen, which aired on CBC TV on January 1, 2012:
Jihad Al-Khazen: In Jerusalem, there are no archeological remains of the Jews or any of their prophets. They have no history. People forget that during Yitzhak Rabin's first term in government, in the early 1980's [sic] I was in America at the time, studying history at Georgetown University. Rabin excavated under the Haram Al-Sharif, and uncovered the remains of an Umayyad palace. There are no [Jewish] archeological remains. There is no Solomon's Temple or any other temple.
They did not enter our countries, nor did they leave them. They were never in Egypt or in the Sinai. Ask Dr. Zahi Hawwas if he has found any Jewish archeological remains in Egypt or in the Sinai. Modern historians, including some Jews, call these "Torah fairy tales."
The Islamic religion was delivered in the light of history. Divine inspiration would come to the Prophet Muhammad, and he would put it on record that same day. The Christian religion was recorded by Jesus' disciples 40 or 50 years later. They were all still alive. The Jewish religion was recorded after 1,000 years. It's like you and me discussing family tales about the Crusades. The Crusades took place 800 years ago, not 1,000 years.
This religion is a fairy tale. We must sever Islam's times with [the Jews]. Their Prophets are not the prophets of the Muslims. Islamic scholars must have the courage to show that these people are frauds. That religion cannot possibly be true.

I think his yearning for genocide is more secular than religious.
“What an deluded idiot.”
You’re too kind.
One thing he said that was actually true is that there would be no archeological remains, evidence of the Israelites, in Sinai, because they were not there, but rather Mt. Sinai was/is in Arabia just as the Bible says. Here is one commercial but good excerpt from a video about the real real Mt. Sinai. It shows that there is clear and amazing archeological evidence of the Israelites at Mt. Sinai in Arabia.

Also, a free download of another really good video of the evidence of the real Mt. Sanai is at this site. I suggest all atheist watch it.

Galatians 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
Me too.
Must be. It's the only way what he said could make sense....
I’ve heard about the Mt. Sinai in Arabia before as well...It makes more sense...
Try to watch the video "Search For The Real Mount Sinai" and pass it around to friends and relatives. It is truly amazing and a must see!

The modern Egyptian time line is based on erroneous base... One of the three pillars is that Ramses the Great, Ramses the II, was the pharaoh of the exodus... but he recorded on his military wall that he conquered Jerusalem... which was impossible if he were the Pharaoh of the Exodus... because the Israelites could not have been sent out from Egypt, spent 40 years wandering in the Sinai, conquered Canaan, and founded Jerusalem... in time for him to have later conquered Jerusalem! Once the Egyptian timeline is adjusted backwards to recognize another builder pharaoh about 300 years earlier was the one who interfaced with Moses, THEN everything falls into place!
We find that there IS an archaeological existence of the Jews in Egypt... and an historical record of the events in the Bible... even mentioning some of the Biblical personages by NAME... in the Amarna letters... and that Tutankhamen was Pharaoh at the time of David and Jonathan and Saul.... a time of a political vacuum that allowed an upstart kingdom to get a foot hold in the north of Egypt... and the names of Jesse and Jonathan are even mentioned in the Amarna letters... and even trouble from a man called “the young lion”, an appellation of David (!), is reported in those letters, written by representatives of the Pharaoh, asking what actions should be taken to handle the situation... letters that went unanswered in light of the political situation at home in Egypt.
Egyptologists do not want to adjust their timelines... they would have to rewrite their textbooks... but the evidence is overwhelming. Their current time line has only a 5% correlation with eclipses reported by egyptian writings, but the new, adjusted timeline has a 97% correlation with those eclipses. That alone is proof the new time line is correct!
When the timeline was corrected, David Rohl, the Egyptologist who proposed and investigated it, discovered a villa that was the home of an Egyptian vizier... who was semitic... and his headless statue showed him arrayed in a coat painted with many colors... and his tomb was empty... the vizier? Joseph. One only had to look in the right time frame.

“>>>Divine inspiration would come to the Prophet Muhammad,”<<<
How does this Mr Jihad (or anyone) know it was “Divine” inspiration? If you read the Quran vis a vis Mo’s actions, it would seem Mo tried to sanction his (horrible) deeds, including a lot of looting & killing, by saying he received a revelation from God!
>>>”and he would put it on record that same day.”<<<
Mo was illiterate. Even moslems acknowledge that Mo & his fellow bedouin Arabs couldn’t read or write.
>>>”Haram Al-Sharif, and uncovered the remains of an Umayyad palace. There are no [Jewish] archeological remains. There is no Solomon’s Temple or any other temple.”<<<
The Umayyad’s (a bedo Arab Caliph ruling Iran soon after moslem-Arab invasion of Iran) didn’t come to power until 7th century AD. The Solomon’s Temple was originally built around 10th century BC. Cyrus the Great decreed (circa 6th century BC) that Jews should return to their homeland and rebuild their temple in Jerusalem (presumably referring to the destroyed Solomon’s Temple). The reconstruction was completed after Cyrus’ death by his successor Darius the Great.
Points are:
1. long gap between Umayyad’s rule 7th c. AD & Solomon’s Temple 10th c. BC or even rebuilt temple in the 6th c. BC.
2. Arab-moslem invaders destroyed many pre-Islamic things, so that no trace of them should be found.
But, I’d say, Solomon’s temple did exist, as did the one which was rebuilt after Jews were freed from Babylonian captivity by Cyrus the Great.
BTW, it is typical of moslem mentality (or those who are influenced by them) to either deny the existence of pre-Islamic places/people, or somehow vilify them, or Islamicize them (mostly by renaming them. There are many examples of that in Iran).
The most outrageous and obtuse denial was when, several yrs ago, a few moslems told me that the Sassanid Empire didn’t exist, and that the Sassanid were invented by the Romans, Christians, and Zoroastrians. This is despite obvious archeological & historical evidence that they did!
No need to argue with the man, or cite archaeological evidence. Just look in the Koran he’s so fond of at Sura 17.

Accusing Israel and Zionism of Nazism and racism is associated in the Arab discourse with Israeli policy toward the Palestinians. This was a recurring theme in many of Jihad al-Khazins columns in the London-based liberal paper al-Hayat. Attacking European and American decisions to suspend financial aid to the PA, following the Hamas victory in the PA parliamentary elections in January, al-Khazin labeled Israeli government members on 9 March Nazi war criminals, accusing them of being part of one of the most barbaric and terrorist movements in the modern age with its Nazi army. On 19 April, following Israeli retaliation for a Palestinian suicide attack in Jerusalem, he repeated his allegation, asserting that since many members of the government and the army were descendants of Holocaust victims or survivors, they can exploit their knowledge of Nazi expertise in order to apply the final solution to the Palestinian problem.
One of the stories I found most interesting amongst all of Velikovsky’s brilliant works was the result of his research into the Queen of Sheba/Hatshepsut and her visit to Solomon.

excerpt from the above -
...The biblical account of the Queen of Sheba’s royal visit to Jerusalem after hearing of the fame and wisdom of king Solomon has always had something of a mysterious air, not the least being that the identity of this majestic sovereign and the location of her domain have never been established. She is described elsewhere as queen of Egypt and Ethiopia, but conventional chronology has no female Pharaohs in Egypt during this period. But 600 years before the accepted biblical date, practically the inverse story is told in Egyptian records. Queen Hatshepsut, a female Pharaoh, journeyed with a large entourage to a land to the east called Punt, described by one official as being associated with Byblos, the old capital of Phoenicia, its ruins today lying eighteen miles north of Beirut. Descriptions of the route overland from Thebes to the Red Sea coast, and by sea to the Gulf of Aqaba, returning via the Mediterranean and back up the Nile, tally. On her return, Hatshepsut built a temple patterned after the one she had visited in Punt, its wall decorated by reliefs commemorating her visit. The gifts from the ruler of Punt that they record closely match those that the Hebrew texts list as Solomon’s to the Queen of Sheba. One of the features of Solomon’s temple that especially impressed the Queen of Sheba was its terraces planted with algum trees. Hatshepsut’s temple at Thebes was laid out with similar terraces planted in the same way...
Yes, in fact Solomon (Suleiman), Moses (Musa), Aaron (Harun) and the Torah (Towraat), along with Jesus (Isa) and the virgin Mary (Maryam) are all mentioned in the Koran (Quran). And, moslems do accept & honour them, though as "prophets" (except for Mary who is viewed as a holy person but not a prophet). In Islamic tradition Solomon is known as a divinely-appointed King.
But, they see them as "Islamic" prophets (that's what I meant when saying the moslems Islamicize everything), because they are descended from Adam thru to Abraham. The division occurs thereafter with Ishmael (for Mohamad) and Isaac (for Moses, Jesus and Mary).
In making such statements, Sabri and Arafat not only blatantly denied history, archeology, and the teachings of the Bible, but they also denied the words of the Quran. From the time of the Revelation of the Noble Quran until recently, all Muslims unanimously accepted that the Haram as-Sharif, or Holy Esplanade, on which the Dome of the Rock today stands is the same place where Solomons and Zorobabels Temples once stood. As a matter of fact, Haram as-Sharif, the Sacred Area of Temple Mount, includes a place called Solomons Standpoint, or Maqam Sulaymanaccording to the Muslim tradition, Solomon used to sit there and supplicate while Hirams masons were engaged in building the Temple.
Mr Jihad's view along w/ those of others such as Arafart is naturally a political one, not a historical reality.
My personal view is that the Koran was not a divine revelation to Mohamad by Archangel Gabriel (as moslems would like to believe). Nor was it written by Mo. Rather, its content, in parts, draws upon previous holy books. Just as many Islamic traditions, beliefs & practices do. Also, Mohamad had many companions, including Zoroastrian, Jewish and Christian priests, before deciding to declare himself the final "prophet or messenger" of God.
Thanks for the link.

Politics...
This guy is so delusional that he has began to believe his own propaganda regardless of how many facts that prove that the Jewish People have more recorded factual history than most civilizations. They have a distinct language, religion, cultural habits, etc that have been handed down for thousands of years.
His declaration was probably based on the fact that while having epileptic seizures, he would have visions of the subject matter he discussed with the aforementioned priests, rabbis and Zoroastrian whatchamacallits. Then there is the fact that Arabic is a very poetic, rhetorical language, and that people who speak it as a first language are therefore easily persuaded by strong rhetoric, the feeling of excitement in the hearer replacing facts and logic as a persuasive medium.
