"ORU is just a small school in Tulsa."

If it is just a small school they have the biggest auditorium I have ever seen and it was completely filled.

Every speech of Newt’s, no matter how long, seems like 5 minutes.
I never get tired of learning more from him.

He’s funny, factual, engaging and sincere. He MEANS what he says, and he’ll DO it. That’s why the RickyBackers and the left h8 him.

Yes, we are lucky to have the Reagan Library in our ‘backyard.’
With ‘Hollywood’ an hour away, one thinks that’s where you go to see celebrities.
Naw - one goes to the Reagan!

A barbecue with Freepers, after touring The Reagan, I expect. That had to have been super enjoyable. It is not easy to re-create something like that - takes a lot of planning, and everyone is older - - -

There’s been a major renovation at The Reagan, and we haven’t seen it yet.

Okay, then!
I couldn’t resist that last line - but I really do say that to folks, when I know they have a sense of humor!

‘___________and fill in the form.’

Okay - did what you said, and saw the form.
True to FR form, it looks do-able.
(3 ‘forms’ and I’m out)!

But there’s so much to learn - - - !
Wonder - where to start??!

“Wonder - where to start??!”

Just continue posting your comments or opinions on anything discussed here and if you don’t know how something is done, just ask. There are plenty of nice people here ready to help.

As a rule of thumb, click on any of the buttons on top or bottom of the page and see what happens each time. That’s how I learned the knowhow.

“Best speech he has had so far. With that audience he just made a very big gain in OK.”

I’d like to see Newt giving a speech on a stadium full of people. 40-50,000 would be quite nice for a start :)

BTW: There were 3 young men sitting next to me, I asked them why they were here, and happy to see so many young people. One said he was interested in the environment, other just said he wanted to hear Newts issue's.

For the one that mentioned the environment, I suppressed the urge to ask him if he thought man could possibly destroy GOD's creation, we don't have that power. But I didn't. Now wish I had.

As it turned out they were Democrats, lol. Standing in the lobby when they came out and one of them admitted it, very nicely. I suppressed my urge to smack him, but hope he learned something anyway.

Gingrich: Obama is most dangerous president in American history by Joy Lin | February 20, 2012

Tulsa, Okla. - Blasting President Obama the “most dangerous president in modern American history,” Newt Gingrich accused the White House of having an attitude towards violent Islamic extremism that puts political correctness above national security.

“Someone was arrested over the weekend for trying to blow up the US Capitol, they happened to be from Morocco,” Gingrich said, referring to the FBI arrest of Amine El Khalifi Friday while he was allegedly en route to commit a suicide bombing. “Under the Obama administration’s willful dishonesty, it would be highly inappropriate to describe what motivated him, because that would somehow be politically incorrect.”

He referred to the Defense Department’s summary report of the Fort Hood shootings, which characterized Major Hasan’s killing of 13 Americans as “workplace violence” rather than an attack by a radical Islamist. “Across the planet today, the forces of religious repression are on the march and this administration has intellectually disarmed, it has morally disarmed, it is incapable of describing what threatens us.”

Gingrich said, “Imagine in 1946, we had tried to describe the Soviet Union and the government said you aren’t allowed to used the word communist. Now any honest person knows what motivated somebody who came here. This is not smearing everybody, this is not Islamaphobia.”

The presidential contender characterized the administration of being “willfully dishonest” and then adopting a defense budget “based on that dishonesty.” Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is meeting resistance from lawmakers after putting forth at $614 billion budget proposal for next year, which is nearly $32 billion less than the current budget.

“The president wants to unilaterally weaken the United States, he wants to cut the aid to Israel for its anti-ballistic missile defense, he refuses to take Iran seriously,” Gingrich said, addressing the 4000 (My comment - there were 10,000) people at Oral Roberts University. “We are in a world that is very dangerous, and I say this to those of you who represent the next generation because you’re going to bear the consequences. We are really at risk someday in your lifetime of losing an American city. We should be very sobered by the threats that are around the world. When Ahmadinejad the dictator of Iran gets up an says Israel can be eliminated from the face of the earth, we should assume he means Israel can be eliminated from the face of the earth.” The audience applauded in agreement.

“Defeating Barack Obama becomes in fact a duty of national security because the fact is he is incapable of defending the United States,” Gingrich said.
